Of course, even if it gets wet, the heat retention will not decrease like down. On the other hand, as I wrote last year, it is bulky and easily stuffy, so it can be used as winter clothing, but it is difficult to wear while you are still in the mood for mountain climbing, making it a little limited. However, as I wrote last year, considering its weather resistance to severe wind and rain, durability such as wear and tear strength, and breathability, it cannot be compared to a hard shell for authentic winter mountain climbing. There have been no considerations regarding the details of the construction to make it easier to make fine adjustments while wearing gloves in the extreme cold. You should think carefully about wearing it in harsh environments like winter mountains.
However, taking these into consideration, even in winter, it can be used as an outerwear for mountain climbing in relatively mild climates such as low mountains and western Japan, or as ski wear in safe places, and is a "minimum waterproof and breathable wear." After all, it can be useful depending on how you use it.
