Information about the last offline event of 2025
The events held in February and March of this year were a huge success, so we're holding another offline snow mountain event this season!
Of course, summer mountains are fun, but the splendor of winter mountains is something else entirely. Once you've experienced the divine world of the snow-capped mountains, you can't help but be captivated by their powerful allure, no matter how hard or dangerous it may be. From my own experience, there's no doubt that getting to know winter mountains makes them even more enjoyable
However, even if you have some experience with solo mountain climbing and hiking, it is true that when it comes to snowy mountains, the hurdles are simply too high to start alone
Therefore, we plan to hold several snow mountain experience events this season, where Outdoor Gearzine, which has over ten years of experience in snow mountains, and our readers will all come together to gain experience and go on snow mountain hikes
December will be the first of these
"Supporting your winter mountain debut! First time hiking in the snowy mountains and gear experience"
This season, whether snow accumulates or not, let's climb the snowy mountains while trying out the latest gear!
We will be climbing in full winter mountain gear. Therefore, before the climb, we will hold an online "Snow Mountain Gear Guide MTG" for all participants, where we will thoroughly discuss the basic mindset and precautions for climbing snowy mountains, recommended equipment, how to choose your first equipment, and recommended items for this season. Of course, there will also be a Q&A session, so please feel free to ask anything
However, since this is a winter mountain climb in December, we are not going to invite you to join us lightly. Winter mountain climbing is an environment that is incomparable to the snow-free season, so we ask that you only participate if you have a reasonable amount of experience and understand that you are doing so at your own risk
We will be even more careful than usual when deciding whether or not to hold the event. We are also considering canceling the event due to weather conditions, so we would appreciate it if only those who can be flexible in this regard would apply

Also, most, but not all, winter mountaineering equipment is available for rental at Outdoor Gearzine, so we will do our best to support those who do not yet have it so that they can participate ( we are currently in negotiations with outdoor brands that will cooperate ) .
