[Event Report] Thank you so much for all the visitors! [Outdoor Gearzine 10th Anniversary Offline Event]

December 1st was a perfect day for the event, with clear blue skies and sparkling autumn leaves

Outdoor Gearzine's 10th anniversary event, "A flea market for mountain lovers and mountain gear lovers," was held

I arrived at the venue at 11:00 and got a first look at the entire venue. It was larger than I expected, and the atmosphere was quite nice, which was surprising considering the mysterious stairs leading up to the room. I was relieved, but there was no time to relax

Setting up diligently

Baramyu's booth

So Far So Good's booth

Glider's booth. Everyone's unique displays really make it feel like an event!

This time, general readers will also be setting up stalls at the flea market

Before we knew it, it was 12 o'clock and we were finally ready and the event was about to begin!

At the same time, many people came to the store! I'm so glad that so many people came...tears

At 1pm, I had a fun chat with Sugime-san from Arata. It was so much fun that we ended up talking way over the allotted time

After that, there was a flurry of raffles for the main attraction items

After that, customers continued to come in without a break, and I was able to spend an exciting time talking directly with readers and exhibitors about my favorite mountain gear

Lastly, thanks

To be honest, I was nervous before the event started, wondering how many people would come and whether there would be too many people and that there would be panic, but when the event started, thanks to the cooperation of all the participants, there was absolutely no confusion and the event was held in a peaceful atmosphere from start to finish

Thank you so much to everyone who participated, everyone who set up a stall, our readers and members who unfortunately couldn't attend this time but support us every day, Lost Arrow who agreed with the purpose of this event and helped with the giveaways, and everyone else who has provided various forms of support and cooperation up to now!

It's been 10 years since I started Outdoor Gearzine, but I've noticed that the situation surrounding the outdoors and web communities has changed dramatically recently. To be honest, things haven't been as smooth as they used to be, and I've had to make compromises in various situations, which I'm sure my readers understand. I continue the site while constantly wondering if I'm conveying my thoughts and whether it will continue to be useful as it is. But on this day, I was able to hear directly from someone who shared the same feelings, "I read Outdoor Gearzine," which was really encouraging and reminded me that it's something worth continuing

I've always thought that my encounter with the outdoors and outdoor culture has taught me that it's more than just a hobby or a sport; it's something I can cherish for the rest of my life, and that one of my roles in life is to share the wonder of outdoor activities with as many people as possible. I'm more grateful than anything for realizing this on this day, and I'd like to express my gratitude once again to everyone

Of course, we cannot run away from the things that are necessary for life, and I feel more than anyone else on a daily basis how difficult it is to communicate with as many people as possible, so I realize that we cannot get by on such nice words alone

In our 11th year, we will continue to maintain that same determination, but we will also change where necessary and take on new challenges. We still have a lot to work on. We appreciate your continued support
