Here's some good news from the editorial team

Following on from last year, Outdoor Gearzine will be holding an outdoor gear sales event this fall, featuring used mountain equipment and other items that have been reviewed and tested on our site so far!

The venue will be Setabun Market 2017, a flea market held in conjunction with To the Mountains" exhibition . We will be setting up an Outdoor Gearzine booth amongst rare old books, stylish miscellaneous goods, and exquisite gourmet food.

What is Setabun Market?

This is a flea market of books and miscellaneous goods that aims to provide new encounters with books and diverse ways to enjoy them. There will also be a special exhibition corner featuring works by authors, designers, and editors, as well as mini workshops that children can enjoy. This year's theme, the third time the market has been held, is "outdoors." In conjunction with the ongoing special exhibition "To the Mountains," there will be secondhand bookstores, general stores, restaurants, and outdoor-related shops

September 16th (Sat) and 17th (Sun) 2017, 10:00-18:00 (until 17:00 on the 17th)

Store Project 1: A huge sale of used outdoor gear that has been tested

At the Outdoor Gearzine booth, we will be selling off some of the outdoor gear we have acquired and tested for review over the past year at a huge discount. We will not reveal the specific names of the items on sale, but since many of them are items we have reviewed, you can be sure that they are all recommended by our editorial team!

Please note that there will inevitably be some variation and limited availability in terms of size and condition, so you will have to come and see for yourself

This time, we will not be releasing all items at once at the start of the event, but will be spreading out the sales dates and times depending on the type of item in order to spread out the customers who come, so we will announce the schedule at a later date

*When apparel or gender distinctions are made, all models are men's.
*Size guide: Sizes for a man with a height of 176 cm, weight of 62 kg, back length of 49.5 cm, and a size 26.5 cm with socks.

Continuing from last year, we will also be selling the all-purpose 8oz Original Dynex Cup, which has a double-layered construction that keeps things cold and warm without condensation, from BSKK hometown of Masuda Kobo, which produces websites, and which offers unique ways to enjoy the outdoors.

We will also be selling (again this year) Outdoor Gearzine original tenugui towels that can only be purchased here
