Comparative impressions: What's the difference between insoles that are strong for driving? I tried running on the trail and comparing it
Outdoor Gearzine Editorial Department
Of course, if possible, I want to run and climb the mountains in good performance. Everyone must have the same feeling.
You should especially avoid troubles caused by foot injuries or habits. This time we will be reviewing the insoles . Simply replace it with the one that comes standard with it, and for some people it reduces the strain on their feet and lower back and improves performance.
Of course, there are variations in foot shape and running style, so the effects and preferences vary. With this in mind, this time I tried out the most popular insoles I've been interested in on a daily basis, in order to tell you what the differences differ depending on the make and model, and which one I liked.
Basically, we choose models for running from each manufacturer. I tried wearing them repeatedly on Tanzawayama (Tono-dake, Tanzawayama, Hiruga-dake, Nabewariyama, etc.). There are three points to evaluate:
Comfort... Of course, we evaluate whether it is comfortable as an insole. The main judgement points are comfortable arch support and the feeling of landing and kicking off. I made the decision taking into consideration the insoles to the soles of the feet with moderate hardness, breathability after using them for a long time, etc.
Reducing fatigue...Simply use the insole to make it easier to get tired. Determine whether you feel that the strain on your calves, knees, and hips is being suppressed. (It's hard to say for sure, as it varies depending on your physical condition, individual differences, time of use, and field.)
Fit: Judge the fit when you put your feet in. The main reasons for determining whether the arch support is moderate, and whether the heel and upper are properly held. We also determined the fit during activities, such as gripping on the entire sole of the foot.

Excellent comfort that regulates the bone structure of the entire sole of the foot
Stability of kicking off
Cushion support that spreads throughout the soles of your feet
It was developed from data on foot of 1 million people and has been loved for a variety of activities, including rehabilitation, outdoor activities, skiing, and running.SUPERfeet. This time, we selected the basic model, "Green" for trail running. It features a heel cup based on biomechanics, making it the most supportive and shock absorbing model in the lineup. I put my feet in and it was a little stiff, but it lifts up the bottom of the inner ankle and wraps around the fat layer on my heel. It's extremely encouraging support for those who land their heels. Perhaps because the fat layer increases the support, the burden on the knees and lower back is naturally reduced. When I drive, it is undeniable that it is a bit harder (particularly the toe area), but its support is shining. A great feature is that the natural coating agent suppresses the growth of bacteria, which is the source of odor.
Based on these three points: the ball of the thumb, heel, and the base of the little toe, it adjusts the bone structure of the foot and adjusts the distortion of the entire body. I recognize that is the rough concept of a spring insole. When I put my feet in, I imagine it lightly lifts the arch and adjusts the bone structure of the entire sole of the foot. According to the manufacturer's website, the yellow control cup on the heel disperses the impact when landing, while the rebound force makes it easier to kick off. It's hard to feel that way, but it doesn't seem like that. As it was an insole created by researching and developing Japanese foot shapes, it certainly fits the most (this is just my personal opinion). The surface material uses QUANTEX, which has excellent anti-odor and antibacterial properties and has a temperature control function that allows for cooling and heat generation. It's a product that I'd like to use on a daily basis, not just in the mountains.
Although it is made of a hard material, the insole provides cushion support not only on the heel and arch, but also on the entire sole of the foot. In addition to cushioning and grip, it has also been designed to provide flexibility to support kicking, making it a model that is more specialized for running than other insoles. The impression of the hardness is similar to the superfeet green mentioned above. Although it maintains a moderate balance of body axis and adheres tightly to the entire sole of the foot, it tends to be slightly less likely to get stuffy (depending on the situation and individual differences). When you run on the trail rather than on the road, you can even feel that your feet don't move much inside the shoes. It is also worth noting that the burden on the soles of the feet is distributed just enough when landing.
This is the softest insole I tried this time. Therefore, while it feels good to absorb shock when landing, some people may find it unstable. Also, compared to other insoles, it is slightly thicker, and depending on the shoe, the upper part may be narrower. It is said that it uses a material that controls temperature, but there are some doubts about its breathability (although it may seem light at first...). However, the heel bumps on the heel seem to absorb the impact when landing. As I ran, I noticed that the impact on my knees and hips had subsided. Although the IMPLUSR shock absorber and the air structure SKYDEXR allow for soft landing, some individuals may differ in their likes and dislikes. It depends on compatibility.
Overall review
My main favorites are ferns and springs. There are similar items such as the bone structure, shaft, grip, impact dispersion, etc. Both were just as top class comfort. The comfort specialized for heel cups is called springs, while the comfort that captures the entire sole of the foot is called certas, but it may be a personal match to see which one fits better in the end.
The springs were highly praised for their functionality in the heel area and the use of anti-odorant and antibacterial materials. Although Super Feet certainly provides strong support for your feet, such as shock absorption and kicking, it is not very noticeable that the toes absorb much (depending on the individual). When you drive for long periods of time, you sometimes feel uncomfortable, perhaps because of the stiffness. If you prefer soft soles (depending on your preference), you should definitely try them out. It's a very pleasant moment when the heel bumps are adjusted to suit your heels.
However, the insoles have a variety of functionality, such as absorbing shock when landing, preventing twisting, kicking support, and arch support. Whether they are brought to life or killed, it is undeniable that it depends on the individual's form. I highly recommend trying out different things and choosing the one that suits your feet.
