Nowadays, many outdoor manufacturers are releasing various types of hiking shoes, but this time, I decided to focus on mid-cut models weighing under 500g per shoe, as this was my personal preference. When you hear that under 500g (around 450g) is about the same weight as the men's leather shoes you normally wear, you can get a sense of how light they are. Of course, there are many good hiking boots that weigh over 500g, but please understand that I chose this model because I wanted to compare performance while pursuing the ultimate in lightweight design, and because it is a model that is friendly to people wearing mountain boots for the first time

This reduces muscle fatigue, especially when going downhill (great!). I've worn them a few times now and they're so much easier to walk
There are also optional eyelets attached to both sides of the shoe. By threading the shoelaces through these, you can tighten the entire foot even more, providing maximum support and a snug fit. However, as expected, when you thread the laces through these holes, the shoelaces are not long enough, so you will need to buy longer laces separately. This is a bit of a strange feature, but we'll ignore it for now
Despite their lightness, the upper is a hybrid of suede leather and synthetic fibers, so they feel more like sturdy, lightweight hiking boots than running shoes. The upper from the instep to the toe is made of a thin nylon fabric. However, the slightly crisp and stiff feel made it a little hard to get used to, but I guess it's just a matter of getting used to it
