Good news for Zayn Arts fans in the Kansai region!
On March 28, 2026, our third directly managed store, following those in Tokyo and Aichi, will open in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. This flagship store will be our largest in terms of store area! We had the opportunity to visit the store ahead of time, so we'd like to share our experience with you
In front of JR Sannomiya Station in Kobe
It's right in front of a JR station, but as you can see, multiple lines like the Hanshin Railway and Hankyu Railway intersect here, making transportation very convenient. However, please excuse my lack of familiarity with the Kansai region, as it's been a long time since I've been here
The JR station exit is the Central/East Exit, and the shop is located south of the station. From the station, simply walk straight down the prominent wide road, Flower Road, and turn right at the intersection where you see the large park called Higashi Yuenchi. It's easily accessible, taking about 10 minutes on foot. The area itself seems to be a mix of outdoor brands and high-end brands
Besides Arc'teryx, there are many other well-known brands such as Montbell and The North Face
In one corner of that area, if you look very carefully, you can see it in the back on the right!
Yes, it's there! It's on the first floor of a large building, and the glass-fronted store should be easy to spot

Upon entering the store, you'll be greeted in a spacious and comfortable environment with a floor area of approximately 165 square meters (50 tsubo)
The first thing that catches your eye is that it's basically a specialty store for Zane Arts products, but as it's their third store, they also carry a carefully selected range of gear! They had Nightcore headlamps, SOL knives, and Opinel knives
In addition to maintenance supplies, we also offer a lineup of other items necessary for mountain climbing and camping, such as firelighters, that aren't covered by ZANE ARTS
If you slide it to the side, you'll find a much more extensive selection of titanium cookware
The tableware selection is already extensive and impeccable!
I chose FITS socks, and right next to them was a whole bunch of base layers from ZANE ARTS
They also have trekking poles, with fixed pole lengths available in various sizes, and it seems they'll be expanding the size range even further in the future

For a while after the opening, there's a promotion where customers who purchase a Rab backpack will receive a medium-sized PE tote bag made by Zane Arts as a gift

The trekking shoes are from the long-established brand Hanwag! They have a wide width and are said to fit most Japanese foot shapes well, making them comfortable to wear. Many of the staff at Zane Arts are also fans, and they recommend them because they fit a wide range of foot shapes. And recently, they seem to be gaining popularity among younger people because they look fresh and new. What's more, despite their appearance, they are surprisingly lightweight

GeoLite offers a highly efficient cookware and burner set

Nokpot, an aluminum pot previously available for 1-2 people, now has a medium-sized family version! I own the previously released model and I like it because it's lightweight and just right for a single serving. It's great that they've now released a size that can be shared by the whole family

The store has ample floor space to display large tents like these, and they said they will be flexible in how they display tents and how they display their regular products, depending on the occasion
Being able to actually try out the tents when they're on display, and also relax in them at your leisure, is surely a welcome feature for users
