[New Store Information] The Ideas Behind ReBIRD™ - Arc'teryx Ikebukuro Tobu Brand Store Launches! [In-store Event Information]

Arc'teryx brand store flagship store arrives at Ikebukuro West Exit!

The Arc'teryx Ikebukuro Tobu Brand Store will open on October 30th, 2025, directly connected to JR Ikebukuro Station and one of the largest flagship stores in Japan. The Geargin editorial team immediately went inside to check it out.

The brand logo, "Archaeopteryx," greets you at the store entrance.

The view from the entrance shows the store with its impressive selection of products, which is spacious, covering one floor and a sales area of 528.8 m2.

To the left of it is a huge, three-dimensional screen, and the scenery projected on it apparently includes mountains that have never been climbed by humans.

Proceeding further towards the center, you'll find the full line of outdoor apparel, footwear, backpacks, and accessories, including Arc'teryx's urban line, Veilance. The items are clearly arranged by category, making it easy to browse.

The interior is also elaborate, with the pillars designed to resemble the rock face of Squamish, a climbing area near Arc'teryx's headquarters.

We have a wide variety of products waiting for you to visit!

The image boards displayed throughout the store make it easy to imagine using the products on the mountains.

There are real plants in front of the cash register! You can feel relaxed even in Ikebukuro.

The Urban Line Veilance is also included in the lineup.

The third ReBIRD™ service center in Japan!

The ReBIRD™ Service Center is the third Arc'teryx brand store in Japan. It is a comprehensive program that covers product care, repairs, and knowledge sharing to help you use your Arc'teryx products for longer. But it's not just repairs.

Below the counter are the detergents used at the ReBIRD™ Service Center. These detergents can also be used at home. (Note: These are not currently available for sale in stores.)

We even have a Tech Wash that will take your products and wash them!

And quick repairs such as patch repairs, slider and drawstring replacements.

This is how the patch repair works. It's easy to understand and unique, but the basic method is to use a similar color.

Furthermore, they offer a wide range of services, including repairs using a serger, and ReBIRD™'s dedicated staff are available to provide advice on care and maintenance, making it clear that Arc'teryx wants customers to use their products for a long time.

Community space also available

Next to the ReBIRD™ service center, at the very back of the store, there is a permanent community space that can be used for in-store events and where visitors can relax.

There are also boards introducing outdoor areas that are easily accessible from brand stores like this one. That's right, places where you can enjoy the outdoors are surprisingly close to Ikebukuro.

A community board that provides information on other events and the brand's "people, things, and events."

There is even a library that you can freely browse, so you'll be spoilt for choice.

A huge sign at the very back displays the brand message.

This was an opening limited offer and has now ended, but they also offered a cool service where customers who purchased over a certain amount could get a tote bag with the brand logo and attach a sticker inspired by the ReBIRD™ repair patch to make it a one-of-a-kind item.

Backpacks, footwear and accessories are also included.

Now back to exploring the floors.

I had no idea there were so many Arc'teryx footwear pieces.

Backpacks line the walls too.

There are also plenty of accessories available.

If you're an Arc'teryx user, you'll definitely be satisfied if you come here!

The Arc'teryx Ikebukuro whirlwind is likely to continue for some time to come, as evidenced by the large number of visitors. Here is information on the in-store events that the Arc'teryx Ikebukuro Tobu Brand Store is already planning for November 2025!
