Additional information 1: [Gift for all local participants] Novelty goods will be given as souvenirs from Haglofs
This time too, we made a difficult request to our guest RCT Japan (the distributor of Haglofs) for the event, and they were able to all Haglofs novelty goods as a gift! They have been gathering various items just for this day, so not all participants will receive the same thing. On the other hand, if you arrive early, you might get some great value items! Please look forward to it.
Additional information 2: Interview video with key figures from Haglofs headquarters released
Outdoor Gearzine was lucky enough to interview a key person involved in development and marketing at Haglöfs' home country when he visited Japan (although unfortunately he was unable to attend on the day). We asked him about Haglöfs' philosophy, what they value in product development, the process from ideating a new product to development, and their connection to Sweden, the land that is the source of Haglöfs' identity. We hope to get a glimpse into the reality of this Scandinavian outdoor brand, which is usually unknown to us, and which combines high quality in terms of individuality, functionality, and design, while also maintaining a simple, familiar feel that is appealing to Japanese people
We plan to show you a video of what we heard there on the day. It will be a very valuable interview, so outdoor enthusiasts should not miss it!
Additional information 3: In addition to the sale of new Haglöfs products, there will also be an introduction to upcoming new releases! (An OGZ flea market will also be held at the same time!)
At this event, we will be introducing Haglofs' recommended new products for Fall/Winter 2024, as well as holding a sale of some of this season's most popular items. This is your chance if you've always wondered where you can buy them. Also, only available to attendees, you might even be able to get your hands on some unreleased items that will be released in the future! We will also be selling some used items that we have reviewed on Outdoor Gearzine over the past few seasons. In any case, we look forward to welcoming you to Nishihara on Thursday, May 30th, so be sure to come along and enjoy a fun and meaningful experience!

What is Haglöfs?
Haglofs is an outdoor brand that began over 100 years ago in 1914 on the shores of a small lake in Dalarna, Sweden. The brand is supported by solid technical expertise cultivated over more than a century of history and the reliability earned by countless adventurers and outdoor athletes. Feedback from outdoor experts returning from fields around the world has refined Haglofs' products to the highest quality. The refined Scandinavian design and unique color palette are also part of the brand's appeal. The brand actively incorporates cutting-edge materials and creates innovative ideas that change the outdoor scene while remaining as simple as possible. The craftsmanship cherished by founder Victor Haglofs is still present in every Haglofs product
The above is from the brand site: haglofs.jp
We'll explore the appeal of Haglofs products, the secret behind their outstanding quality, and experience what makes them so great by actually touching the latest recommended items from Haglofs, which are now being delivered to Japan again
Haglofs made a happy comeback (in the Japanese market) last year, but unfortunately withdrew from Japan a few years ago, so you might only know it as "a Scandinavian brand?" However, Haglofs is actually a brand with a long history that has been in the outdoors for over 100 years, and since I first encountered their "ROC HIGH II JACKET" hard shell 10 years ago, I fell in love with the high-quality products that combine performance, practicality, and design, as well as the brand's approach to manufacturing. Since then, I have been checking out their new products every season and using a variety of their gear
What is the appeal of Haglöfs, which combines reliable functionality with the sophistication unique to Scandinavian brands? What is the philosophy behind its appeal? How exactly does Haglöfs' uniqueness come about? We'd like to ask the brand manager, who has been dedicated to Haglöfs since before the company withdrew, directly about the deeper secrets behind the manufacturer's official information. We'll also bring you the latest Haglöfs information, including recommended items for this season, with plenty of Haglöfs love
As always, the first half will be a talk show with the guest, and the second half will be a relaxed, free chat. We will let you know the details as soon as they are decided, so please wait a little longer

We are also planning to live stream this event (using YouTube live streaming), so we hope to make it possible for those who cannot attend to watch without difficulty
