Review: Eureka Midori 6 Tent A highly cost-effective camping tent for 6 people I got from "Sekaimon".

This is the second installment of the series I obtained and tried using it at Sekaimon. about Sekaimon, this article I introduced last time , and said, "I want a camping tent for summer" (currently there are only mountain tents for two people), so I decided to take a look at Sekaimon's website.

If you would like to know more about Sekaimon, please check this official website.

I searched for the tent I wanted from 5,000 items.

There is no particular brand or spec you want, so if you type "camp" in the search box, you'll see something like this.

As if to sense this feeling, a variety of camping gear will appear in the search box. It's nice that even if you enter Japanese it will automatically be displayed. If you select "camping tent", they will ask you to further detailed conditions, asking, "What kind of tent would you like?"

First, I thought it would be fine for two people, so I chose "2 person camping ten." And then I got over 5,000 search results... There are so many. A quick look at it, the prices vary in shape and shape, making it a perfect choice. Is there so many different types of tents overseas? I proceeded through the page with great interest.

However, I was just vaguely thinking, "I want a camping tent that is cost-effective and easy to set up," so I didn't know what criteria to use as my choice, so I ended up going out looking for other gear. In the end, I decided to use the information from the American gear comparison review site OutdoorGearLab to choose a model that is difficult to obtain and highly rated in Japan.

If you have a specific decision on your desired budget, brand, or shape, you can specify these before narrowing down your search, so there is a UI that makes it easy to search for even a large number of candidates.

Returning to the main topic, I'll start looking for a model I've come up with right away. I put "Eureka Midori 6" in the search box and searched for it... and found it! "Eureka Midori 6" is here.

The price was roughly in Japanese yen. From here, you will be able to proceed with the purchase process normally.

By the way, looking at the breakdown of product prices, you can see the items listed, Sekaimon fees, US shipping fees, insurance premiums, US consumption tax, etc. Shipping costs vary depending on the weight, so you should check this as well.

It makes me excited to think that tents will be brought all the way from overseas. And it took about three weeks to wait. The tent you wanted has arrived.

Eureka Midori 6's rough features

This is a dome tent for six people (5.4kg) that is simple and relatively lightweight for a camping tent. By adopting the "V3 Enhanced Tent System," it improves breathability, stability and volume. The fly sheet is resistant to UV rays and rain. It has four storage pockets, one gear loft, two entrances and two large vestibules, making it comfortable to stay inside the tent.

Detailed review

There were no torn or dents in the packaging and it arrived in a clean shape.

So, when you open it, you will see the instructions and warranty card.

I took it out of the box. The tent fits exactly the size of the box, so I was struggling to take it out of the box.

Remove the outer bag and try to remove the contents.

I spread the contents out. The pegs and poles are in special bags. To be honest, I thought it was in a simple plastic bag, so it was surprising. This is a great feature as it makes it easier to put together parts and reduces the chances of losing them.

I'll try to unfold the inner tent. It's big for 6 people!

Connect the folded poles, make two of them and cross them to hang the inner tent. It was so big that I couldn't do the work alone, so I craved another help. In reality, it is unlikely that a tent for six people would be set up by one person in the situation, so there is no need to worry about that.

The illustrations in the manual were difficult to understand, but even I, a beginner, were able to assemble the tents in a general sense. I thought it would be difficult to set up a tent, so this was also surprising.

I'll try placing the fly sheet. Looking at the photo (on the left), you can see that the vestibule is spacious even from outside.

The fly sheet appears to have been opened. The front room is spacious.

Now I'll go inside the tent. I put my shoes in the front room. There is still room for space.

The ceiling was so high that I, who was 160cm tall, could stand up and reach for my hand. This makes it seem like even a man can move without bent over.

It's ceiling storage. You can place things on this mesh sheet. The mesh sheet is also large, making it perfect for organizing small items.

The storage spaces (both ends) in the four corners are also large.

There is also ventilation for increased breathability.

By the way, the view from the outside looks like this from the inside. It's spacious as it's only for 6 people. The floor has a bathtub structure that prevents rainwater and other things from entering.

Things to be bothered

Not suitable for winter

Although it's a double wall tent, it's almost fully mesh so it's simply cold. Ground seats are not included so we recommend purchasing them. It may be better to have a tent mat even in the summer.

It's too small for six people to sleep

It's the perfect size for six people to "sit down", but it's hard to deny that it feels cramped when you say "sleeping". This is especially true if you are using a sleeping bag. Because it is tall, it feels spacious, but it feels like only about four people can sleep.

Summary: I want to use it as a tent for the "talks" during the warm seasons of spring and autumn

I was a beginner at setting up a tent and it was difficult to understand the manual, but since it was a hanging type, I was able to assemble it with a rough intuition without thinking about anything difficult. This tent is also suitable for warm weather from spring to autumn. However, if you are camping in mountainous areas, you need to take measures to prevent the cold in the mornings and evenings.

This tent is used for sleeping, but personally I thought it would be perfect for a "talking place" tent where you can gather with your friends and talk to them until late at night.

When you look at Sekaimon's website for the first time, you may find it overwhelming because there are so many products, but please use the search instructions in the article to find the product you're looking for.
