NEWS: We've put up the latest tents that have been rumored! Outdoor Gear Touch&Try 2017 in Jonanjima Seaside Park Campground
April is here and the outdoor season is finally here. This year, there seem to be a lot of events where you can enjoy outdoor activities in a familiar atmosphere, and the editorial department is receiving a lot of release information every day.
Meanwhile, I recently had some information about an event that made me feel like I've been leaning forward, thinking, "I have to go," so I'd like to share it with you.
What is "Outdoor Gear Touch&Try"?
Simply put, it's a product display and trial event for general users, but the key point is that you can "see", "touch", and "try (free of charge)" events in the actual field where you can rarely test the actual usability of tents, tarps, and firearms such as burners can be seen in the actual field. If you can use your favorite tent as you want in a spacious campsite in Tokyo with easy access, and use all the popular firearms, it's sure to enjoy it if you're a reader who likes gear and comparisons.
Participating brands are hot
The excitement of this event is especially true. Although there are almost no such well-known domestic tent manufacturers, this year's second time, the number of participating brands has increased from last year, and tent brands are gathering many people who are not often seen in physical stores, such as MSR, NEMO, Big Agnes, Terra nova, Ogawa, and Tenmak Design This is quite rare in Japan for all kinds of events to be exposed to.
Personally, I would have liked to see the boreas tent at least once, so I thought I'd have to go, so I thought, "I have to go." I don't know if it's actually on display, but it's rarely available in regular shops, so as a boreas lover, you won't miss it.
Of course, there will be many other camping and outdoor equipment other than tents on display, and during the period, workshops such as "Chun Chun's PRIMUS Camping Cooking Class" will be held, and there will also be events-only shops (apparently there was one last year) ( for details, please see here on the Facebook page ). What's even more exciting is that it's a campsite, so you can have a BBQ or camp there on the day (fees apply, advance registration required).
If you're interested in this event, you can actually try out the latest models from maniacal brands that are rarely available to try. Why not take part in this event?
