The latest mountain tools gather in Germany! We will be participating in the largest outdoor gear fair in Europe, The OutDoor Show Friedrichshafen 2016!
The OutDoor Show Friedrichshafen, one of the largest monster events in the European outdoor goods market, will be held again this year.
The event, which was first held in a corner of Germany in 1994 and was only a small exhibition of a very limited genre, has now grown to one of the largest events for the European industry, with around 1,000 exhibitors, over 20,000 buyers and over 1,000 journalists meeting for four days from July 13th to 16th, and various events such as exhibitions, conferences, screenings, and parties being held, making it one of the largest outdoor goods fairs for the European industry.
The highlight is the latest outdoor gear scheduled for release in the spring and summer 2017 season, targeting the European market, and is finally being announced by outdoor brands around the world. It will fully experience the future outdoor shape that each manufacturer considers.
Last year, Outdoor Gearzine interviewed the 2015 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, an outdoor gear exhibition in Salt Lake City, USA, and shared the excitement and cheerfulness of the global outdoor market, .
Meanwhile, the current OutDoor Show is a trade fair for the European market, as can be seen from the fact that the venue is Germany. In other words, many European outdoor brands familiar to Japan, which were not possible in Salt Lake City, aimed at North America, will be exhibiting a lot. In that sense, we are excited not only for the trends in major global brands, but also for the encounters of small garage manufacturers and new outdoor brands in Europe.
Furthermore, the event will also be watching the "OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD" which is sent out from a variety of outdoor gear announced that year, and items that have achieved innovative achievements in terms of technology and design.
Incidentally, the town where the venue is Friedrichshafen itself is hardly known from Japan, and there is almost no information about this event in Japanese, so it is hard to predict what kind of atmosphere it will have. We will report as detailed and in a timely manner as possible about the information we can provide, so please look forward to the update next week!
