Recommended spots around Mount Shasta [Can you die without walking? Journey to American National Parks (36) Mt. Shasta's Jewels Bonus Edition

Happy New Year everyone!

Since last year, we have been introducing the sanctuary spots around Shasta, as it is a gem of Mount Shasta. What do you think? Shasta is called a power spot, just like Sedona, and when I actually went there, I found myself being possessed by the invisible charm of Shasta.

It really has the unique charms that only Shasta has, such as the scenery, atmosphere, color, and smell that nature creates, and it is also a very impressive thing that makes you think that you are glad that you lived in America in front of such a natural world.

It may be less well known than Yosemite National Park and other famous tourist spots, but that's what makes it so appealing. I also feel that this is a place that only those who want to visit (called people) can visit. If you have the opportunity, come and feel the energy of Shasta. Just feeling the Shasta's breeze while not doing anything and doing it will detox both your body and mind.

As a bonus, we will introduce two recommended spots around Shasta.

Shasta's No.1 Recommended Spot: Railroad Park Resort (Railroad Park Resort and Dining Car Restaurant)

Location: 100 Railroad Park Rd, Dunsmuir, CA 96025

A unique spot in the town next to Shasta called Dan's Muir.

This place features accommodation, restaurants, campsites, souvenir shops, and more, but what's unique about this is a place that railway fans will love. It is a very cute place with a nostalgic atmosphere, remodeled trains that were actually used in the past and used for accommodation.

In the days when this was thriving, Dansmuir was a very important part of the railroad community.

This place was previously known as the "pusher" at Dan'smuir, just before Shasta, where additional locomotives were added to aid in the steep slopes of the mountain path leading to Shasta. The beginning of the resort area was the initiative to renovate and preserve the trains that were used in such times.

Surrounded by the rich forests and greenery of Dunn'smuir, there are 12 conductors, each with up to five people, with a private bathroom, mini-fridge and microwave. It's a great place for children who love trains too.

Here's the restaurant and dining area.

Be sure to stop by when you go to Shasta.

Shasta's recommended spots No. 2: Historic Town MacLeod

Location: 409 Tucci Ave, McCloud, CA 96057

This is also a town next to Shasta. It's a truly simple, small and indescribable place.

MacLeod was previously a company town of wood companies that flourished in forestry.

It is a very quiet town with a population of about 4,000 at its peak, but now it is about 1,300. It's a quiet, rustic place that feels like a town or a village. The old buildings and history here are also important and are now designated as historical districts.

The MacLeod Railway (now abandoned), which helped film Standby Me, was also a railway company located in this town. MacLeod has a nostalgic place where Shasta and old railway cars remain.

Since it is a private property, you will have to stop by at your own risk, but the combination of the faint tracks of old trains and the beautiful appearance of Mount Shasta is amazing.

It's right next to the Fire Division in MacLeod.

Now, in this article, we will be closing our introduction to the Mount Shasta area, also known as the Jewel of Shasta. From next time, we will introduce some wonderful trails in other areas of North America.
