First, we asked about how they launched F/ACSION.

"When I was making high-performance outdoor rainwear, I was thinking that these jackets are extremely comfortable and functional, but are used in special places like the field. In that sense, wouldn't it be okay to have jackets or coats that fit us, who live normally, with cutting-edge, high-performance materials? That's what I felt was growing.

In the first place, as you can see from the fact that trench coats were developed as military wear for bad weather, I thought that what we need now should be made into a form that is appropriate for us using our current technology and sense. Of course, that doesn't mean you want to create a design or structure that follows the trends of your choice. We would like to reconstruct current technology to reconstruct the quality and design that have been passed down as standards over a long history, while respecting the quality and design that have been passed down as standards.

However, I thought it would be difficult to achieve this with our technical capabilities alone. And so, the group was joined by Ishisone of Kajimake, a designer who combines the latest outdoor materials with the sense of casual clothing, and the idea of ​​"Is this possible?" suddenly accelerated. When we approached this, both Kajimakei and Maegaki were manufacturers with a long history and track record in the same Hokuriku region, and quickly hit it off with each other. ”

F/ACSION was born from the redevelopment of the ideal outerwear that we, Maegaki, could imagine, from scratch, by bringing together the know-how and the latest technology that we, as we live in cities, could bring together. ”

High-end outdoor wear fabric and cutting

The first thing that surprises you is the excellent waterproof and breathable properties that can only be made by Maegaki, who has produced many high-performance rainwear from authentic outdoor brands. F/ACSION uses a unique three-layer waterproof and breathable material called "BARRIER EFFECT."

The extremely thin membrane (waterproof and breathable membrane) of only 15 microns, stretched as thinly as possible, has a high water pressure of over 30,000 mm that can withstand heavy rainfall, and at the same time, it has excellent water permeability that expels moisture from the inside out to the outside, at over 40,000 g/m2/24 hours, comparable to cutting-edge, high-performance rainwear. Of course, the surface of the fabric has been treated with DWR processing, making it water-repellent.

The lining is made of 3 ultra-thin 7D tricot layers, making it dry at all times. This makes it extremely lightweight despite its high durability and comfort.

In addition, the calculated three-dimensional cutting and moderate stretchability cultivated through the production of outdoor wear makers make it less stubborn or cramped when bold movements despite their stylish silhouette, greatly reducing the stress of movement.
