[Event Report] Thank you so much for all the visitors! [Outdoor Gearzine 10th Anniversary Offline Event]

Written by Yasushi Hisatomi

December 1st was a great day for an event with a glittering blue sky and autumn leaves.

Outdoor Gearzine's 10th anniversary event, "a flea market for mountain lovers and mountain equipment lovers."

We first saw the full picture of the venue when we entered the venue at 11:00. It's bigger than I expected, and the atmosphere is quite good that you wouldn't imagine from the staircases that led to the room getting into. I was relieved for now, but I don't have time to relax.

We worked hard to set up.

Buram You's booth.

Sofer Saw Good's booth.

Glider's booth. Everyone has a unique display and it's becoming more like an event!

This time, there will also be a flea market opening for general readers.

Before I knew it, it was 12 o'clock, and the event was finally ready!

At the same time, many people enter the store! Someone who's good has arrived... tears.

At 1pm, we had a fun chat with Sugime from arata. It was so much fun, and as expected, it was a long way over time and we talked about it.

After that, we were forced to enter a raffle of the highlights of the item.

After that, our customers were able to spend an exciting time talking directly with readers and vendors about their favorite mountain tools without interruption.

Finally thank you

To be honest, I was excited to see how many people would come before the event started, and how many people would happen to me and not panic because there were so many people, but when I opened the door, there was no confusion at all, and with the cooperation of the participants, we were able to spend the event in a peaceful atmosphere from start to finish.

Thank you very much to everyone who participated, to everyone who participated in the store, to all the readers and members who unfortunately were unable to participate this time but who are supporting us every day, to Lost Arrow, who agreed with the purpose of this time and cooperated with us as a gift, and to everyone who has supported us in various ways in the past!

It's been 10 years since I started using Outdoor Gearzine, and I've noticed that the situation surrounding the outdoor and online world has been changing dramatically recently. To be honest, things aren't going well like they used to, and we are forced to compromise in various situations, and I'm sure our readers will understand this, and I continue to wonder whether my feelings are always being conveyed and whether they can be useful as they are. Meanwhile, on this day, I was able to receive the words directly from people who share the same feelings, "I'm reading Outdoor Gearzine," which really encouraged me and made me realize that it's worth continuing in the future.

What I always thought was that by discovering outdoors and outdoor culture, I was taught how much more than just hobbies and sports, what I can cherish for the rest of my life, and one of the roles I have in my life is to convey the wonders of it to as many people as possible. I was more than anything else to be able to realize this, and I would like to thank everyone once again.

Of course, I can't escape from what is necessary to live, and I realize the difficulty of communicating and delivering more people to more people every day than anyone else, so I realize that I can't do it with just such beauty.

In the 11th year, I will continue to continue to move forward with that feeling, but I will change the parts that need to change, and I will continue to challenge myself to many different things. I still have to work hard. Thank you for your support.
