Spring is beginning a new season! In March, Outdoor Gearzine will be holding a talk event and flea market at Akishima Outdoor Village's complex outdoor activity facility, "PLAY."

About the talk event

The theme is "Would you like to go on the hike? Let's ask Morikatsu."。

Mori Katsu, a familiar low mountain prop researcher known in outdoor magazines and who is known by the people of this field, will pack his backpack with a complete set of equipment that he usually loves on day hiking. We would like you to talk about all of the items, mainly clothing and gear, from the appearance, mechanism, how they work, and their particularities. You may also be able to learn about special spots and hiking routes that Morikatsu, who usually walks around Ome, Itkaichi, Okutama, Takao and the mountains near Tokyo! ?

In addition, Mori Katsu recently requested some of his favorite items, so I hope to adjust the intensity depending on the audience on the day, from hiking beginners who are about to get serious about stocking up on tools to enthusiasts looking for excellent items that are slightly different to others, and we hope to make the content enjoyable, adjusting the intensity depending on the audience on the day. About Morikatsu

A low mountain prop researcher who originally came from product design. As a child, I was obsessed with the Secret Base, Kawaguchi Hiroshi Exploration Team and Huckleberry Finn. He is a member of a working adult cave exploration club and is vulnerable to the words "unprecedented" and "secrets." About the venue

In the first place, I've always wanted to hold real events such as chatting on this site regularly, but the conditions were not met to allow for casual events, including costs, so it was not possible to realize them. with the full cooperation of Akishima Outdoor Village's complex outdoor activity facility we have decided to carry out this in a way that is carried out as one of the facility's regular programs. For this reason, you will be required to participate in the talk event as a PLAY program, and if you are a PLAY monthly membership, the participation fee is free (please understand that there is a fee for non-members) . Depending on future reactions, we hope to regularly hold event programs based here.
