Well, this time of year is right in the middle of exhibition season in the industry, and by a bit of coincidence I was invited to this joint exhibition, so I went and will be bringing you the details of Outdoor Things vol.14!
I arrived at the venue as one of the first to open. Outdoor Things is an outdoor exhibition in the broadest sense. Therefore, the items that readers are most looking forward to, items that are useful in the mountains! To the average person, there are very few, but it is up to you to decide which items will be useful in the field depending on how you look at them
And because I also love camping, I've included a lot of camping gear, and there are plenty of items that could be used in the mountains
The top batter is YOKA, a company I have personally used, which produces many wooden products and metal gears that are useful for camping and other activities
The most noteworthy item at YOKA is this YOKA charcoal grill, which has become a hot topic on crowdfunding!

Well, the exhibits didn't just include things; there was also coffee. Kanae Shiko, which proposes the "Dunk-Style Coffee Bag," a new concept that allows anyone to easily brew coffee in a tea bag-shaped bag, and Unlimited Coffee Roasters, located in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, exhibited at the event, and we were able to sample their collaborative coffee. This coffee had a different taste from regular coffee in a good way, and depending on the type, it had a high-quality, fruity aroma. While the hats and umbrellas were interesting, what caught my attention the most was the fact that there had been many requests for tarps and tents made from this material in the future. While tents seem to be more suited to camping, I'm also hopeful that tarps might be light enough to carry around on mountain trips!? The final item is ROKX from SN Japan, who invited me to the exhibition. They're selling a slightly more affordable POLARTEC® ALPHA product than the others, and it's called the ALPHA HOODIE. The white color is a new color from FW25, and while it's affordable, it has two hand pockets, which aren't often seen on other Alpha Direct products, which I think is a key advantage.
