NEWS: Kajimake "PIRARUCU Rain Shaker," which attracted support from 1,300 people at Makuake, is launching a new crowdfunding project
PIRARUCU Rain Shaker, which was featured on this site at the end of last year and ultimately received support from over 1,300 people on the crowdfunding site Makuake , is a rainwear for everyday use and bicycles equipped with a "rotating hood" that allows you to swing freely.
With the full-scale rainy season approaching, the rainshaker launched a new project at CAMPFIRE, this time from Friday, June 5th. This time, we will be offering a set with a bag at a special discount, including the "mushroom" color, which was not available in the previous project. If you missed it last time, why not take this opportunity to check it out?

PIRARUCU Rain Shaker, which attracted 1,300 people through crowdfunding, appears again
Features of PIRARUCU Rain Shaker (reprinted)
The hood of rainwear inevitably narrows your vision. What's more, it's a pain when it's difficult to fit or it's easy to get in.
Even on rainy days, there are times when I have to ride a bike. But it's dangerous, and it gets wet and makes me depressed...
PIRARUCU Rain Shaker solves such rainwear problems .
There are three main features:
1) A wider view than any high-end rainwear
The hood of a typical rain jacket is adjusted using drawstrings at the back of the head or both mouths to match your head size. A well-tailored model will fit well, but even if it's a fitted hood, if you wear it and shake your head from side to side, it can actually be a bit annoying, as it blocks your vision and makes the hood easily slip. This was a structural problem that almost all rainwear has.
Rainshakers solve these problems. No, I had no idea about that.
The original rotating hood, which uses patented technology, separates the hood and body part and connects it with a plastic guide rail (photo below), completely removing the twist when you shake your head, allowing for a wider view than when you shake your head left and right. Furthermore, the tension in clothes when moving your neck is removed, making it comfortable from the neck up. Of course, the connecting parts are covered from above, so it is unlikely that rain will blow in from here.

The hood connected to the guide rail slides in response to the movement of the neck, making it seem like it's not covered in the hood at all.
2) The dedicated rain visor prevents rain from blowing in, making it always in good visibility

Once I tried the rain visor, it not only prevented the rain but also cleared the view, making it an essential for bikes on rainy days.
People like me who usually wear glasses are destined to find it difficult to see in front of me on rainy days due to the water droplets on their glasses.
However, in the case of this rain shaker, this comes standard with a removable rain visor patented by Kajimake, so rain from the front almost disappears to your face. Moreover, the transparent material makes the view even clearer than regular caps, making it safer and more comfortable. Especially when riding a bicycle on a rainy day, your glasses won't get wet even when you lean forward and point forward. Incidentally, this visor has a UV protection rate of 90%.
3) Details that are satisfying even for outdoor enthusiasts and cyclists
The fit feels like it's worn is not too loose or too slim, but the standard width. With the calculated cutting, you won't notice the stiffness or sliding sensation that you feel when bend and stretch your elbows and arms.
The rotary hood is made of drawcord at the back of the head and velcro at the jaw, making it easy to match with any face, and it combines wide vision and waterproofness. The front zipper has a smart waterproof zipper. The sleeves are elastic and velcro, making them perfect for your body shape. The hem can also be prevented from slipping up by the drawstring (photo below).

Furthermore, reflectors (reflective material) that are safe even in dark places are placed on the right waist and both ankles, with the aim of using them on a bicycle (photo below).

There are reflectors on the right waist and the sides of the hem of the pants, so you can drive in dark places without worry.
The essential waterproof and breathable performance is no problem for everyday use. The outer material is treated with DWR (water-repellent) and the water resistance of 10,000 mm is waterproof enough even outdoors. The breathability is 5,000g/m2/24hrs, which is less than the recent mountain climbing model, but it should be fine if you use it lightly or outdoors.

Water resistance of 10,000 mg and moisture permeability of 5,000 mg (official) are no problem if you use it everyday, but also for light outdoor activities such as camping.
This is the versatile feature that covers not only everyday use, but also travel and hobbies, but also cuts down unnecessary costs and keeps them at a reasonable price range for everyday use. It's an exquisitely cohesive piece that makes you loosen your wallet strings, so if you prepare it in your front door, separate from authentic outdoor rainwear that's difficult to wear in town, it's safe for everyday life when it tends to rain.

Points that interest me
- When you put the sleeves on, the mesh on the lining tends to get caught and pop out from inside.
- If it is left uncovered without the hood, it will hang down and look bad in the back.
