I had no idea about it!! Makuake has the most "too-looking" comfortable rainwear I've ever had. "PIRARUCU Rain Shaker" review

Another shocking item from the workwear industry is attacking

The new wind may come from outside.

Last spring, Kajimake , a workwear manufacturer in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, brought in the world of ATION Crater Mesh , once again brought us some crazy items with shocking ideas.

The hood of rainwear inevitably narrows your vision. What's more, it's a pain when it's difficult to fit or it's easy to get in.

Even on rainy days, there are times when I have to ride a bike. But it's dangerous, and it gets wet and makes me depressed...

PIRARUCU Rain Shaker solves such rainwear problems .

A wider view than any high-end rainwear

The hood of a typical rain jacket is adjusted using drawstrings at the back of the head or both mouths to match your head size. A well-tailored model will fit securely, but even if it is a fitted hood, the clothing will twist when you move your head, which will inevitably give you a slightly stiff look.

Furthermore, the larger the brim to prevent rain from blowing in, the waterproofness will be more prone to the water, but this will cause the edge of the hood to get in the way and the visibility will inevitably be narrower (see the photo below). This was a structural problem that almost all rainwear has.

If you wear the hood and shake your head left and right, your visibility will be poor, the hood will shift, the hood will almost fall off, and there will be a rough look, so you will actually need to be careful.

Rainshakers solve these problems. No, I had no idea about that.

The original rotating hood, which uses patented technology, separates the hood and body part and connects it with a plastic guide rail (photo below), completely removing the twist when you shake your head, allowing for a wider view than when you shake your head left and right. Furthermore, the tension in clothes when moving your neck is removed, making it comfortable from the neck up. Of course, the connecting parts are covered from above, so it is unlikely that rain will blow in from here.

The hood connected to the guide rail slides in response to the movement of the neck, making it seem like it's not covered in the hood at all.

A problem for guys with glasses. Visibility is good even with rain, bicycle and glasses

Once I tried the rain visor, it not only prevented the rain but also cleared the view, making it an essential for bikes on rainy days.

People like me who usually wear glasses are destined to find it difficult to see in front of me on rainy days due to the water droplets on their glasses.

However, in the case of this rain shaker, this comes standard with a removable rain visor patented by Kajimake, so rain from the front almost disappears to your face. Moreover, the transparent material makes the view even clearer than regular caps, making it safer and more comfortable. Especially when riding a bicycle on a rainy day, your glasses won't get wet even when you lean forward and point forward. Incidentally, this visor has a UV protection rate of 90%.

Stress-free 3D cutting

Although it is not particularly stretchy, the neatly cut pattern makes it comfortable to wear.

The fit feels like it's worn is not too loose or too slim, but the standard width. With the calculated cutting, you won't notice the stiffness or sliding sensation that you feel when bend and stretch your elbows and arms.

A light and elegant design that can be worn on sunny days

Even in everyday life that doesn't rain, you can fold the hood and use it as a wind jacket.

It goes well with outdoor activities such as camping and light hiking, but the elegant camo pattern (white, black, brown) has a calm design and coloring, and the hood that can be stored in the stand collar makes it a great option for everyday use for travel and town use.

The sophisticated design makes it perfect for rain gear for commuting, matching it with a suit.

Details that are perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and cyclists

Top left: Adjustable hood size, top right: Front waterproof zipper, bottom left: drawcord at hem, bottom right: elastic elastic at cuffs and velcro

a previous interview that the designers of this brand have originally gained a lot of high track record in outdoor brands, but the rain shaker this time is also fully utilized by the detailed construction that has been cultivated through authentic outdoor construction.

The rotary hood is made of drawcord at the back of the head and velcro at the jaw, making it easy to match with any face, and it combines wide vision and waterproofness. The front zipper has a smart waterproof zipper. The sleeves are elastic and velcro, making them perfect for your body shape. The drawstring also makes it difficult to slip up.

Furthermore, reflectors (reflective material) that are safe even in dark places are placed on the right waist and both ankles, with the aim of using them on a bicycle (photo below).

There are reflectors on the right waist and the sides of the hem of the pants, so you can drive in dark places without worry.

The essential waterproof and breathable performance is no problem for everyday use. It's not good even outdoors

Water resistance of 10,000 mg and moisture permeability of 5,000 mg (official) are no problem if you use it everyday, but also for light outdoor activities such as camping.

It is waterproof, but the outer material with a DWR (water-repellent treatment) and the water resistance of 10,000 mm is waterproof even outdoors. The breathability is 5,000g/m2/24hrs, which is less than the recent mountain climbing model, but it should be fine if you use it lightly or outdoors.

Amazing cost performance with top and bottom set

It is so sturdy, and is a set of top and bottom, and costs less than 5,000 yen. As always, the workwear industry is incredible.

I'm curious about this

Even though I know that it's not something to compare it to authentic outdoor rainwear that costs tens of thousands of yen, it's still not worth it.

What caught my eye the most was that the mesh on the lining tends to get caught when you put it on and popped out from inside. It feels a little stressful. The price will probably go up, but it would be interesting if this hood structure was made of three layers of fabric, and could be used even in real outdoor activities. Also, if the product is left uncovered without the hood, it can't be helped that it will hang down from behind. If I could secure it a little smarter even when it was left out, I would have enjoyed two styles on sunny days, such as a stand-collar and hooded style.

Summary: The best rainwear for use on the town, "invented" by a developer who knows the real outdoors.
Pre-sale will begin on Makuake from Wednesday, October 16th (and more than 10% off!)

Rainwear is made by people who know the real outdoors and thoroughly pursue the functions necessary for city use, and inspire them in a way that has never been seen before. The unique hood, which is one of a kind in the world, is so unique that you can see how cramped the hood has been. I don't think it's possible, but Kajimakei should definitely use this mechanism to create authentic, three-layer outdoor rainwear.

PIRARUCU Rain Shaker has begun pre-ordering for discounts on Makuake (I've also posted a comment). There seems to be a menu that is highly discounted on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't miss out!

It is highly versatile enough to cover a wide range of purposes, not just for everyday use, but also for travel and hobbies, but also cuts down unnecessary costs and keeps the price range in a reasonable price range for everyday use. It's an exquisitely cohesive piece that makes you loosen your wallet strings, so if you prepare it in your front door, separate from authentic outdoor rainwear that's difficult to wear in town, it's safe for everyday life when it tends to rain.
