Starting autumn mountain climbing with Outdoor Gearzine “Outdoor Gearzine Trailhead”

Mountain tools can only be seen, touched, and used to understand their benefits. Aiming to be a broader, deeper, and more sincere source of information about outdoor gear than anywhere else, Outdoor Gear is exploring all the ways to provide more people with the opportunity to learn about mountain tools, not just text, but also videos, as well as real spaces.

we are able to quickly rent a stylish gallery space from Wab Design INC., a design company located near Yoyogi Park As this rare occasion is rare, it was decided that an event would be held!

However, it is just a web magazine with mountain tools run in small increments in a corner of the internet. What can you do in real space? What will happen? To be honest, it's completely unknown, but by the fact that communication that has been closed on the web has spread in real life, it will surely create exciting experiences that are on a different level than before. We would like to make this a place where everyone who is even slightly interested in mountain climbing can enjoy it, so we look forward to seeing many people coming.

Planning overview:

"Trailhead" is an English word that means "trailhead." This is our first event, and autumn is in the middle of autumn leaves, so we are preparing the following projects with the aim of getting more people to learn about Outdoor Gearzine's activities and helping them become the starting point (entrance) to start climbing mountains.

1. You can learn and experience the most popular mountain tools you'd recommend for the 2016 autumn foliage season!

Outdoor Gearzine has introduced various recommended mountain equipment every season, but in this exhibition we have selected recommended gear, assuming you are climbing the mountain "now" in the middle of the autumn foliage season. We will introduce all the recommended mountain tools we have independently researched and selected from a large lineup including new items in several categories, including rainwear and backpacks.

2. Beginners can fully understand what to wear and what should I bring to hike in autumn!

What should you actually take and how much do you need to take to climb a mountain? Outdoor Gearzine will be recreating the contents of the backpack when climbing the mountains in real life and displaying it. You can also touch and check it out on the spot, and you can ask anything you have any questions you may have on the spot, so even beginners are welcome. Of course, this is just a view based on Outdoor Gearzine's experience, but on the other hand, I think we can provide a flat opinion that is not biased towards any manufacturer.

3. We've released past outdoor gear that has been tested at a great price!

At Outdoor Gearzine, the number of outdoor gear that has been actually purchased and tried using gear reviews and comparison tests continues to increase every day. It's true that I want to keep it as a document, but I'm starting to feel physically useless, and it's a shame that it's a good thing to use even though it's a good thing to use.

4. Packing Course 2016 by Arai Yusuke

Speaking of Arai, he is the only expert in Yamato Keikokusha's "Ultra Light Hiker" who Naturally, his commitment to outdoor gear is also incredible.

This time, we will be holding an event where Arai will be able to experience the current state of packing, where he will be holding the tools and how he will be packing into the field, in front of actual gear From regular day hikes to staying in a tent, to UL, we will be able to talk about packing techniques as much as time allows!

In addition to packing courses, the event will also be selling Arai's latest books and holding an autograph session. If everyone buys books at the venue, it will help Outdoor Gearzine, so I hope you buy them!
