The Quandary Pants series has been expanded and updated
These versatile hiking pants have been renewed, offering the ease of movement found in alpine/trekking pants and a style that can be worn for travel or everyday use. In addition to the standard trekking model, three new styles have been added for the 2024 season: convertible, jogger, and shorts, completing the extensive lineup
Patagonia's trekking pants have always been known for their slim silhouette, and the new model uses NetPlus material recycled from discarded fishing nets, giving the pants a more refined silhouette and a new design that allows the waist to be worn inside or outside. They've also been completely redesigned, with repair patches attached to the back of the pockets
There are standard styles for everyday wear, convertible styles for a wide range of seasons and weather, joggers for ease of movement, and shorts for summer only, so they seem to suit a variety of tastes and activities

This time, repair scraps have been discreetly added to the lining of the pockets, so that if the item gets torn, you can repair it yourself as much as possible without having to buy a new one

These convertible pants can be worn as both long pants and shorts. They are extremely versatile and have many loyal fans
The Houdini Stash/Airshed Pro is a lightweight wind shell that's even easier to use
The Houdini Jacket, a windshell familiar to trail runners, now comes in a new style: the Stash. This half-zip pullover jacket is hoodless, making it even more compact and portable

The fabric is a DWR-treated nylon ripstop that is so thin that the lining is transparent. The bold yet nostalgic coloring is also lovely
The Airshed Pro, which has become a new standard in recent years, has also been updated in detail. The hybrid structure is still intact, with windproof nylon material for the body and Capilene Cool Lightweight material for the hood and sleeves, which allow air to pass through. The new version also uses a more stretchy material for the body, which appears to further improve ease of movement
The classic Storm Racer Jacket has been updated for fastpacking convenience
a previous lightweight rainwear comparison review on Outdoor Gearzine and is one of my personal favorites, has also been revamped.
While the fabric remains the same, the appearance has been significantly revamped. The unusual front zipper design (which made sense for trail running) has been replaced with a simple front zipper and chest pocket like a regular rain jacket. The style, comfort, functionality, and lightness are undeniably impeccable, so I think this more versatile model will sell better than before
This season's limited edition rope bag, the "WinWin Packing Tarp," offers endless possibilities
Although it's a limited edition model only available this season, the WinWin Packing Tarp looks incredibly practical. It's a bag for storing climbing ropes, but it can also easily store bulky gear, luggage, wet items, and dirty items. It even comes with a tarp (rug) that can be used to spread things out or as a footrest. The roll-top entrance is highly expandable, making it a smart storage solution that can flexibly accommodate a variety of activities

A tarp that prevents ropes and gear from being placed directly on the ground. It also seems convenient for storing clothes
Other noteworthy items for mountain-related activities
Capilene Cool Trail uses Naia® Renew, giving it a cotton-like feel and texture, and its stylish graphics make it a piece that outdoor enthusiasts will want to wear all the time
The Boulder Fork Rain Jacket, which features rust-resistant zippers, is ideal for trekking and fishing. This means it's also suitable for climbing streams
The Black Hole Duffel series, perfect for carrying large amounts of luggage, is now made with recycled TPU coated fabric for a more environmentally friendly look

The Black Hole Cube, which allows for smart storage of small items, has also been updated with recycled TPU coated material and its size has also been improved
