Top-class lightweight and compact design with excellent load capacity

This new camp chair comes in two sizes: a HIGH model with a seat height of 44cm and a LOW model with a seat height of 25cm. Apart from the seat height (= weight), they have the same structure

In any case, when talking about this chair, it is impossible not to mention its weight

A quick look at each part reveals that the three carbon poles, as well as the connecting parts and seat material, have all been designed with weight reduction in mind. When we checked the weight excluding the storage bag, the LOW model weighed just over 300g, and the HIGH model just over 350g. That's much lighter than a plastic bottle

Of course, there are lighter camping chairs out there. However, what's surprising is that despite being one of the lightest in its class, this chair is still sturdy and can withstand a load of 100kg. In terms of storage size, when placed in the included stuff sack, the long side protrudes slightly higher than a plastic bottle (the long side of the HIGH model is 34cm)

The carbon poles of the frame are foldable, so the height doesn't stick out so much that it becomes a concern, and it's small enough to fit in a daypack for day trips

Simple design that can be assembled by simply tightening the belt

The assembly method is very simple. The three frames are pre-glued at both ends, so there is no need to pierce them. First, without thinking about anything, start by stretching each folded carbon frame

When you stretch the carbon frame, the parts naturally cross over each other, forming a drum-like shape, and then all you have to do is tighten the three belts around it. Naturally, this tightening action requires some force. Since it's made up of carefully selected parts, a certain amount of analog feel is inevitable

When the three points are tightened evenly, the carbon frame should overlap (support) exactly at the joint

Both ends of the frame (top and bottom) are covered with triangular, flexible and extremely durable Cordura nylon fabric, the larger of which forms the seat

Assembly is complete. All that's left to do is sit on it

The HIGH model has a seat height of 44cm, which is about the same height as a small bench, while the LOW model has a seat height of 25cm, which may be a bit uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time (especially for those with back problems), but if you're looking for something extremely light, it's well within the acceptable range

The carbon and fabric provide excellent cushioning for comfort

When I sat down, I was a little worried at first about the natural "flex" that comes from the carbon frame and the nylon material at the connection points, but after using it for a while, I realized that it's not going to break, and that it's just a characteristic of the material. On the contrary, this slight cushioning seems to add to the comfort that aluminum and other materials don't offer

As it is one of the lightest outdoor chairs, unfortunately it lacks the comfort of the back and stability of the four legs. Of course, a larger triangular seat would be better, but overall I think it offers more than enough stability and comfort for this class

This is what it looks like when you sit in the LOW model. It depends on your preference, but it's a bit cramped compared to the HIGH model, but the feel around the seat is just as good

Attention to detail and extra ease of use

Both models have loops at each of the six vertices of the seat, allowing you to hang things like a stuff sack. I don't think anyone would ask for more from a compact chair than portability, assembly, and comfort, but it's nice that they've gone above and beyond to pursue ease of use in the smallest of details

In addition to stuff sacks, you can hang a lot of things, such as caps and trekking gloves. Recommended for clumsy people who tend to lose things

Summary: This is a chair that I would recommend to discerning campers and hikers who don't want to compromise on either lightness or comfort

Despite its lightweight and simple construction, this ultra-lightweight outdoor chair boasts excellent load-bearing capacity and comfort for its class. No special assembly techniques are required, so anyone can easily assemble it.
