[June Event Report] We all made our debut in the mountain stream fishing!
Last weekend, I went fishing with the members for the membership event, a summer annual mountain stream fishing event, "Let's start fishing for the mountain stream this year," and went fishing for the mainstream fishing with the members!
The members gathered from beginners in the river fishing and stream climbing, to Lureman who has experience in stream fishing but has never been to catch the source basin, and veterans who are fishing in the river, and as usual, there are many different types of fishing methods and experiences, and as usual, this party is a wide variety of outdoor gearzine-like parties.
We met at 4am at the trailhead on a trail along the source of a large river. It's about too late for the angler. From there, I walked a moderate distance to the entrance to the river and immediately changed into my first mountain stream fishing equipment.
Just after entering the river, you'll find a perfect kettle. I'll try casting as well as practice.
Then suddenly, loud cheers came from far away!
A few minutes after starting fishing, the bait fishing members suddenly grabbed a char over 20cm! This is a good start! Everyone was drowsy and excited.
After that, they continued to constantly catch tenkara, lures, and bait one after another. To be honest, the size wasn't very good, but I'll leave that to the Great Valley in the future.
Even though I was a little late, I finally got my first lure and it started to get better. However, I first saw the lure fishing in the mountain stream for the first time, and it was cool, fun, and I could catch it, so I almost cheated on it.
Despite his first attempt at Tenkara, he is already a proficient man in his way of swinging. However, although he reaches a good position, he has been revealed many times, and vows to get revenge for the next episode.
Even if you can't catch any fish, the best thing about fishing for streams is just to be able to experience the comfort of being surrounded by the rich nature.
This year, we have experienced a strange rainy season in which the rainy season front disappears halfway through, but while we always hope that it will rain properly, our selfish mentality, wanting to be sunny only when we enter the mountains, remains unchanged.
Thankfully, this day was a pleasant sunny day. It seems that the lower world was hot from the morning, but a cool breeze blew through the river with the sun flowing through the trees, with the sounds of streams and the sounds of birds and higurashi, making it a perfect day for the river.
This time we had a day trip to the mountain stream fishing experience, and all the participants seemed to be satisfied.
On the way home, everyone's motto was their next goal: "Stay in a tarp in a stream and eat the char we caught around the bonfire."
So, the next event will be "Lover fishing for a mountain stream" in September. We will provide more details later, so please look forward to it.
