Comfort/mobility

The tight fit follows the movement of your body perfectly, reducing stress even during intense movements. It also feels smooth and snag-free when you put it on

One thing that bothered me when putting it on was that the zipper sometimes felt sluggish. In jackets, if the balance between the hardness of the zipper itself and the softness of the shell fabric is poor, it tends to be difficult to open and close, and this is not limited to this shell. If you hold the zipper firmly and move it, there's no problem, but it would have been perfect if you could have done it quickly without being so conscious of it

Unique waterproof material and waterproofing

I've used it in heavy rain. The lining feels nice against the skin and the seams are well sealed. I'm impressed that it can weigh less than 100g with such careful seams. The waterproof and water-repellent outer material is also good unless left on for a very long time

Thanks to the cutting technique, it fits snugly to your head. It can handle a wide variety of weather conditions and doesn't move around much even when you move vigorously, so this size of hood is actually more comfortable

The dedicated storage bag can also be stored in the internal zippered pocket when you are out and about. Personally, I am very grateful that I no longer have to worry about losing it

Summary: What activities is it recommended for?

I would go so far as to say that this is the only thing I would recommend for endurance competitions such as trail running races. Its waterproofing and functionality are of a high standard, and what's more, it's so light, weighing less than 100g, it's practically unfair. It's also perfectly suited to activities where lightness is a priority and an advantage

For other activities, it's comfortable and incredibly easy to use, but given its light weight and the thin, flexible fabric, I'm not sure about its durability and the impression that it could be worn for years. It would be more useful for a long time if you preserved it as ultra-light gear for crucial moments, rather than using it casually and frequently. Considering the thinness of the fabric and the fit of the hood and length, it seems that its advantages are only fully utilized in limited situations. If you can match it to your own activities and repeatedly study cases, such as this one in this season, to determine the best situation for you, you'll find no more convenient garment. It's surprisingly small and easy to carry, so I think it's perfectly suitable for emergency or spare gear

With this lightness and performance, I'm excited to see how it will evolve in the future
