We sneaked into the reception of HYPERION HOUSE, the short-term experiential pop-up store by the American running shoe brand BROOKS, which is currently running and receiving rave reviews from September 13, 2025. Apparently, it has been held during major marathon events around the world, but this is the first time it has been held in Japan.

If you are coming from JR Harajuku Station, go a little way from the intersection in front of Laforet along Meiji Dori towards Shibuya and you will find a small road on the way almost to the back of the street on the east side.
BROOKS HYPERION HOUSE is located in Harajuku GATE (formerly UNKNOWN Harajuku), which is located in such a place.

The Hyperion Elite 5 has a unique sole-side shape. It boasts the highest energy return in Brooks history, so I'm curious to see how the softness and responsiveness of the hemispherical sole will feel!
To be honest, I'm not very knowledgeable about running shoes, so I don't know the details, but I was amazed at the hardness and thinness of the sole, which is the most important part for grip.It's a product of the latest technology.
Another pair of shoes was the Hyperion MAX 3. This versatile shoe can be used for everything from speed training to actual races.
This one felt like a more realistic sole compared to the Hyperion Elite5, which seemed completely geared towards racing.
