[finetrack] Sneak into Platinum Party 2025! [At the Direct Store TOKYO BASE]
2025 has begun, and the New Year's mood is starting to fade. On January 26th, the Platinum Party 2025, an event exclusive to the " finetrack TOKYO BASE," a finetrack direct store in Omotesando, Tokyo! This is the first event of the year.

We arrived at Fine Track Tokyo Base, one of the venues, just before the party started. The store is located in a slightly quirky space between Meiji Dori and Cat Street

All Tokyo Base staff and elite members from the Kobe headquarters will work together to transform the store into an event venue

The venue opened at 4pm, and we received our entry certificate, a special Finetrack silicone band, at the reception desk. This was actually the second time this event was held, and it had different colors and details from the last time.
So we moved to the cafe to the left of Tokyo Base, which would serve as the main venue for the event

The main venue is already full to capacity and the event is about to begin. I have a feeling there might be a special guest this time, but let's not mention that for now
It began with a greeting from Finetrack's Managing Director,
Everything from snacks to alcoholic drinks was free! This generous offer is truly luxurious, as you'd expect from a party exclusively for Platinum members
After Takagi's light-hearted greeting, Aikawa from Planning and Development spoke about the latest brand wear.

Everyone is very interested in the story behind its development
the new waterproof zipper, AquaGuard® Tightened which was developed after four years of development with the cooperation of finetrack, the company that uses the clothing . This may be the first time it has been unveiled to the general public. For convenience, it is called watertight, but it is also water-resistant, so it is no exaggeration to say it is waterproof! The fact that there is no need for a flap on the back of the clothing also shows its high performance.

It was revolutionary and obvious when comparing it to conventional waterproof zippers. What's more, this zipper will only be used by one other company and Finetrack for the time being
After the talk about this amazing new work, we will have a "Choose and Make" workshop! The event will be moderated by Tokyo Base staff member Seki. By the way, participants have given permission to show their faces

The procedure is easy to understand and there are instructions, so it's simple. After the participants have completed some of the work, the finetrack staff will complete the final touches.
Everyone was having trouble deciding which one to get... but the sacoche bag was overwhelmingly the most popular (lol)
I chose furoshiki because it seemed very versatile and I thought it would be useful in many ways
From here, everyone works separately at the base and in the cafe, and it's time for some adult crafts
Judging from the way everyone was absorbed in the event, I could tell it was a fun time
And once the work was finished and we were waiting for the finished product, we had a video letter from the founder and CEO, Mr. Kanayama Yotaro, who was unable to come to the site this time due to various circumstances
It was full of exclusive and secret stories, from the launch of Fine Track to the nationwide caravan

The event started with self-introductions, and then moved on to the much talked about " solo traverse of the Hokkaido Watershed during the snowy season," followed by a Q&A session on future developments, making it a very packed event.

The topographical map used on the adventure is filled with beautiful handwriting, and there is also a diary on the back
These have been compiled into a book, which is very clever
Before and after the talk show, they also sold autographed copies on the spot, which was very popular. They were very good at it (lol)
While we were having fun, this was also finished. By the way, this quilted fabric is made from Finetrack's original sheet-like heat-retaining material "Fine Polygon® " with a front and lining, and it is made from the same off-cuts as the material used in the highly acclaimed Polygon UL and other clothing, so it should perform well!

The fun party came to a close with a closing speech by Nemine-san, the Finetrack Tokyo bass manager and event manager
Even after the party ended, everyone was still basking in the afterglow. It was a very fun and special 25th anniversary edition of Finetrack's Platinum Party.
