We have arrived in front of the store, but it has been raining a little after we arrived at TMR.
Unfortunately, the sky is bustling, but the shop is bustling. I actually wanted to walk around the city a little while, but this time I gave up and Nuruk, who I visited a little before my visit, was also involved. I took a stroll around the city with a little of the outdoor event GENTLE HIKER STAND -MOKA- held in Mooka, so I'll show you what's going on.

Almost arrived in spring 2024.
This year, the venue will be co-hosted by four mountain tool shops in Tochigi Prefecture, including Nuruk, and will be the first time they have started again.
We arrived about 30 minutes after the start of the season, but it's going to be lively! It was a surprising excitement as it seemed that 30 brands had four times the number of times the opening of the store when it was held last year.
We would like to introduce a little to the vendors, including Noico, who I used to help with in this exploration report.
There were all-star exploration journals, including Raysmore, TMR, and Kawara Kitake. Of course, the other vendors also featured attractive brands, and I think it will probably be held again next year, so I'm looking forward to it now.

I somehow walked from the Gokogawa River Green Space, the event venue, towards Mooka Station.
Well, there is a magnificent carp in the waterway next to it. More than that...

I thought it was a toy that was inflated with the air, which is common in distance, but it's a stunning, authentic!
Mooka is also a fantastic event like this, and we're moving forward.
We've come almost to the center of Mooka, and you can see it on the left of the center of the image, and I think the free municipal parking lot is convenient when walking around the city as usual.
Almost across from the parking lot, Mooka Cotton Hall is a place where you can enjoy souvenirs and weaving and dyeing. It seems that advance reservations are generally required for the experience.
And across from the hotel are facilities such as a tourist and other art museums. There are many highlights just around the parking lot.
Furthermore, next to the Production Hall is Mooka Benzaiten.
Mooka is a place where the buildings of the past and present are mixed in just the right amount of time, making it a place where you can enjoy both the good old and the current appearance of the city.

There are a lot of cats in this area, and perhaps because of the generous atmosphere of the city, they don't run away at all.
This is the street where Nruc's first former small studio is located, next to the left of the beauty salon. It is a dawning place that is safe to say that the legend began here, and I proceed with emotion.
From there, it goes to Mooka Station = it is almost the same as going to the current Atelier/store, Nuruk Nurku Nest.
It's Mooka Station, and the station building is shaped like a SL.
Next to the station is the SL Kyurokukan, which houses real SLs. It seems that the SL was a short distance but was an event that operates. It seems like they do it occasionally, and it seems there is still a chance to see the operation status by the end of the year.
Nurk Nest is located in front of Mooka Station, and there are other popular stores on the premises.
This is a stylish place in front of the store and renovated from the storehouse.

The synergistic effect with the event has been a huge success. So it's been a while since I first interviewed, so I'll be switching to the 2024/October version, which I took a picture of the recent lineup.
This is a re-shot of the store, as I passed by the nearby location, and the layout in the store has been slightly different and the product range is even more fulfilling as it was just the time when FW products were coming in this season.
I think Wood, the owner of the restaurant, has quite a few of the cookers in private stores! From major brands including Evernew
It is certainly a wide range of products from TMR, who is well known for his visits.
Past visits
Nruc's main product is backpacks, but there are other brands available as well.
I also thought this was a bit strange, but I think it's also like Wood. We have a wide range of products such as Gossamer Gear, Exped, Granite Gear, and PergoWorks.
There are also plenty of mountain essentials and emergency equipment.
The fuel is also fully covered here, and most of the preparations before heading to the mountains. In fact, there may not be many individual stores that go all the way to such small details.

We have a wide range of milestone products, and the author's favorites are both MS-G2 and MS-J1, which I own!
Although the G2 has a short irradiation distance, it has an overwhelming lateral width and is a sub-light use, while the J1 is easy to use as a flashlight you have, and the battery inside (sold separately) can also be used as a mobile power source, both of which are excellent.
The lineup was quite sophisticated, with Merrell, CRV, and Zero Shoes.
Perhaps due to the colors available, there are many calm items, but these are items that are chosen by Wood, so they are said to be solidified with products that show off the quality of the items you can understand when you wear them. It is true that even around me, I have been glaring recently and saying that it's good to wear CRV shoes. The appearance of mountain boots is important, but their performance is more important, so I would like to consider them carefully before choosing them.
Mountain Collector was the one who thought it was very Wood's selection.
Apparently, the scenery seen in the mountains is turned into a handkerchief and turned into a product. I'm sure there are people thinking interesting things.
When I come here, I tend to get beaten up by accessories from Wood-san's selection (lol) This is the hit this time!
A small bunch of nails for cleaning! It's super tasty and tiny, cute and practical. I personally bought this. According to Wood, we are the only ones who have this at the mountain tool shop (lol)

Now we moved to the next door to Nruc and Cafe Zuccoke Coffee, which is of course connected within the building, and there is a toilet on the central entrance, and inside the toilet.

Next to the register, enter the right side of the building and in front of the cafe is Zuccoke Coffee. The images are surrounded by the latest information when you visit in June, and all others are the latest.
When I visited the store, it was probably past 4pm, but Wood said he had a late lunch break, so this was an opportunity, so I took a break at the cafe too.
Starting today's dessert, we'll be offering chocolate muffins and iced coffee.
I've been familiar with Zukkoke-san even before he became completely united with Nuruku-san, so I'm touched that it has become so impressive, both of which are delicious. A great time for gear enthusiasts is to be able to immerse yourself in outdoor gear while having a cup of coffee.
The rest area is also packed with the second floor above the Atelier, both the store and the store.
Sanctuary and Atelier of Nruc
The atelier is at the back of the cash register, and Nuruk products are born every day. I think it's amazing that they are doing it in an open style, but this is also a way of transferring the mindset from the small atelier.

Is it a one harness specification when viewed from the front? I thought so, but there were two. Nruc's backpacks were primarily made to seamlessly connect mountains and towns, but this appears to be a product that focuses on seamlessly connecting mountains and towns and commutes. It has already been published on Instagram and other sites, but it has received a huge response, so they want to commercialize it as soon as possible.
On top of that, the new clothing for next season is also a base layer-like thing. However, it seems that it is still undecided whether it will be released in full.
Nruc backpacks are basically made to order, so you will have to wait patiently, but you need to have a heart to accept them as you think that is the best part of Nuruc's fun, and you need to have a heart that accepts them, a handmade spirit. You can customize it, so you can create your own favorites.

It's about time for the time being that Nruc representative Inoue Wood Makoto will be appearing, and in the first place, there have been people who have been saying Wood and Wood for a long time (bitter smile)
It's a nickname that's familiar to all over the world, where Wood is probably his real name.
Let's have Wood talk about the beginnings of Nruc before Nruc.
"Back in my late teens, sewing machines have been one of my small hobbies, so I've been enjoying MYOG since around 2002 when I first started mountains.
At first, of course, there was no social media, and only the catalogue was available. After reading the catalogue, I found out that "MYOGet Things That Are Not Available!" and that's how I enjoy the mountains. Also, since fearing that the number of mountain accidents would not decrease, I have been doing a small blog where I am making entertainment-based dramatizations of mountain hiking reports that will make me laugh, with the desire to "not be too concerned about climbing the mountains" and "please enjoy the mountains more casually."
During that time he worked in the food and beverage industry, and after resigning, he traveled around Japan, and after that he worked for an outdoor manufacturer for seven years. In 2015, I was invited by the president of a guide company that I used to be a business partner when I was a manufacturer, and I went straight to the guide.
A few years ago, there have been quite a few people who have said they want their MYOG items, so Nruc was born to work as a guide and do small things. However, what really inspired me to move forward was the support of the owner of the mountain tool shop I was always in, and the possibility that I could express the idea of "there are no need to be too particular about climbing" and "there are more casually to enjoy the mountains" through manufacturing and brand management.
We officially launched Nruc in April 2017, and in 2018 we set up a small studio in Mooka City.

At the time, as the image of UL and garage gradually became more fashionable, Nruc had many items with a silly approach (in the sense of being more entertaining) that ignored "cool" (all of which were particular about tissues lol), and I think people in the city were often seen with their colorful glasses.
However, the "essence" of the content is "thinking for yourself without being swayed," and thanks to the spread of users who have a good understanding of this, I've become so busy with everything, and I've stopped guiding and can eat with just a single Nruc.
Then, manpower was required, and in 2020, it moved to a large stone storehouse eight times larger, which is the current NRUC NEST. When the store first moved, NRUC NEST was started with three people, one sewing staff member and one staff member at the coffee stand that was attached to it. Thanks to you, it currently has 10 staff members, and not only produces products, but also operates direct stores, select shops, and coffee stands.
Of course, my initial idea was to continue behaving like a garage with one person or a small group, but there were so many things I wanted to create and express, so I chose to organize them as a company.
NRUC NEST, which is also a castle, is not just a place to sell things, but also a lively atmosphere where items are created right in front of users, and an environment where you can always interact with the creators. Many customers will spend an hour or two, so I want them to know more about Mooka, and I want to introduce more shops that I would like to visit, and to liven up Mooka...
We have been creating a unique style that connects the outdoors and the city by establishing an NPO that shapes "city revitalization" that began with the desire to "environment of Mooka."
Nruc has remained the same since its founding, and its main concept is "above the waste..." Due to the influence of UL, as things move towards "simplicity," naturally "waste" will be eliminated.
But personally, I sometimes think, "That's kind of sad." UL is just a "meanor" and is a way to lighten your luggage and get more distance, faster and more freedom. And I believe that beyond freedom, literary ideas can be born, and each individual has its own reach.
In short, what someone presents is not the answer, and it would be a shame if it was simply a fashion-like perception. It is a tool that allows you to "foster each person's freedom."
It's also romance to stoically cut the base weight down, and it's also a game where you create spaces in the base weight you use as your standard and stuff the gaps with waste. Do you really need to make it lighter and simplify? In this regard, I am deliberately presenting "waste" to make people wonder once again. The mountain climbing style differs from person to person. There's no need to just aim for peak hunts. Everyone has different reasons to enter the mountains. Therefore, for each purpose, things that are "beyond waste" should become "necessary." We want to be a brand that gives us that "realization."
Nruc's goal is to be said to be "Nruc's popularity has increased and mountain accidents have decreased." There are so many "accidents that didn't need to happen." I believe that this will decrease if each person is not overwhelmed by vain or desire, and if they are "not swayed and thought", then they will not be swayed.
This may be a very difficult goal, but the root of this philosophy remains the same even before Nruc was launched. In the future, we would like to focus on disseminating information that expresses this. '
And even after reaching that goal, Nruc's grand dream continues.

From the beginning, me and my mountain friends had little desire to climb. I think it started with Kitadake.
I simply said, "Let's aim for the summit of Kitadake!" and didn't give me any motivation (lol). It all started when I headed for the summit with the aim of extreme ironing, which was quite a stupid popular in Europe and the United States, and then I once hiked night hikes at Mt. Yarigatake, Jonen-dake, and the summit of my local mountains.
People today probably won't understand it at all (lol). In terms of physical strength, they won't be able to resume their work.
