table of contents
Outdoor Gearzine's second offline event of 2023, "Our Favorite Hikes Vol.02"
This time we will be inviting Shuhei Nishioka, the representative of milestone, a genuine Japanese outdoor brand that Outdoor Gearzine has been keeping an eye on for a long time
Theme: We want to hear more about "milestone," an up-and-coming outdoor brand from Osaka, from CEO Shuhei Nishioka!

Nishioka is the third generation president of his family business, Fuji Lighting Co., Ltd., and is also a huge outdoor enthusiast, having completed the 100-mile Ultra Trail Mt. Fuji race. The outdoor brand "milestone," launched by his generation, began with the development of headlamps, then exhibited at the North American outdoor gear exhibition "Outdoor Retailer," and has now expanded to include the manufacture and sale of an even wider variety of outdoor gear
If you are interested, please visit the official milestone website.
We'll be asking Nishioka about the latest technological trends in headlamps, which have seen rapid advances in recent years, as well as his passion for making headlamps, starting his own brand, and his love of the outdoors - all of this in a relaxed, relaxed atmosphere. As with the last time, the first half will be a live talk with Nishioka, followed by free time for a relaxed, harmonious chat until the end of the show
Here's an announcement: this time, admission is free!
*By the way, there will be a donation box at the venue. We would appreciate your continued support so that we can continue to hold this event in a stable manner
Please note that you are allowed to bring in drinks and food, so please prepare them yourself on the day. By the way, there is a convenience store that sells alcohol within a 0-minute walk, so I recommend that (we will also try to prepare some at the venue as much as possible)
"Our Favorite Hikes" will welcome people from a variety of professions involved in the outdoor industry in Japan, and we are confident that you will be filled with new and warm stimulation, not only by getting up close and personal with these people, but also by meeting many fellow mountain and gear lovers and having casual, harmonious conversations. If you are even slightly interested, please come see us in Nishihara on May 26th
