[OGZ's Yamato Town Exploration Story Vol. 03] Kiryu Edition - There are plenty of events on the first Saturday of every month! Let's walk around Kiryu street
Leave Azmarbase, Plylet/Azma Kitchen.
Previous visit
Next, I'll head to the event I was told.
This time we will be strolling around the town of Kiryu, mainly in the back north of JR Kiryu Station.
When certain events are held, the parking lots at universities and other locations are specially open, so you will use them.
First, head to Kiryu Tenmangu Shrine, next to the parking lot.
Aaaaa Tenmangu Shrine is filled with familiar and unfamiliar items, mainly antiques and textile-related items!
This event is called Tenmangu Shrine's Antiques Market, and is held on the first Saturday of every month.
It seems that there are many vendors, and it is full of a variety of items besides antiques.
I thought it was a nice and Kiryu-like scene where young people dressed in kimonos were looking for items.
If viewers look, they may be able to find hidden gems.

Now let's go through Tenmangu Shrine and head out on the south road.
There was a bakery on the left right after leaving Tenmangu Shrine, and I learned later that Kiryu has a strange impression that there are many bakeries, greengrocers, and clothing select shops, and it seems rare that competitors coexist in each area. Is that the rest the standard? There were also many cafes.
The bakery is next to Ichinoyu, a public bathhouse that has been struggling with recently.
I'll go and take a bath later.
If you continue straight, you will receive another event information! It seems that it is being developed everywhere.
When I come to a region like this, I come across unique gas stations, but personally I love the designs like that, so I get fascinated.
Another announcement about the previous event! This is apparently a place called Garakutaichi, which sells miscellaneous goods, ceramics, artworks, old books, etc.
When I went all the way to the corner of the guide, I got an invitation to go beyond this point. I'll try riding it
This also looks like a gallery and cafe reused from a historic building.
The spicy curry aroma is irresistible!
However, I just ate rice balls and it's turning.
There wasn't much time around here, so we crossed the road and headed back north from the other side.
In front of you is Fujiya Main Store, a famous restaurant with a wide, famous string-kawa, which is known for its wide range of Kiryu udon.
I've had it here in the past, and the chewy, wide noodles are delicious.
It seems that the new store next to this building is currently open.
I've just deviated from the main story, but there's a third event information available, so I'll go and see it.
and it seems that the three events, including the currently suspended Kiryu Rakucho and the first Tenmangu Shrine Antique Market,
On the way there are so many things that I'm concerned about, it's a good idea to be bothered (lol)
It seems we've arrived at the venue, so let's go in.
It seems like there are a lot of people and there are lots of excitement.
This is Saaya City, and it has a different colour from the previous article, mainly textile products, household goods, and food and drink, giving it a Marche-like atmosphere, with a different colour from before.
After a sudden announcement, the executive committee members began to parade while dancing.
It's nice to feel a bit relaxed like this.
I was also curious about the building across the road, so I decided to enter.
It looks like a very popular handmade bread workshop, full of people!
And I feel like it's really worth it.
I'm already full, I'm satisfied.

Now let's go back to the main street.
I returned to Tenmangu Shrine, facing the main street, and completed my own walk around.
What do you think? Even within this short section, Kiryu's highlights are packed with the highlights of Kiryu, so it's hard to get around in a very short time, so there are many attractive places in Kiryu.
Now we get into the car and head back to the Umeda area, but we'll continue with the drag that it's not just about going back!
