[OGZ's Yamato Town Exploration Story Vol.11] Tokyo Harajuku Edition, NEW Open!! Hoglovs Harajuku Store
OGZ's Yamatomachi series has been a suburban episode for a long time, but has finally arrived!? We have entered the city center.
Tokyo is the Harajuku area, which can be said to be the center of fashion.
From Harajuku Station, you will pass through Takeshita Street.
Once you pass Takeshita Street, turn left.
You'll go further across the crosswalk. we also have Yosuke is also active in Gear Gin
Follow the road and greet us at the right corner of the intersection at the location we visited, Hoglovs Harajuku!
Yes, Hoglovs has returned to this area as a flagship store!
The new opening was just a while ago in September 2024, so we will be posting two episodes, including the fact that it just opened and the recent revisited forwards of this season, and the appearance of the group of forwards this season.
*Therefore, some photos may show items that have already been out of sale, but please be careful.
Once inside the entrance, you will see the Haglofs Synchronized Performance Layering System series, which will show all of its performance when worn as a layered set. I personally like the black and red color scheme so it catches my eye.
In addition, it's obvious that 2024AW is a yellow fan.
Personally, I didn't really have much of an idea, but the lineup also includes shoes.
At a glance, you can see the high quality of the product.
The heritage Hoglovs model is also displayed, and readers who have read OGZ Offline Event Hoglovs are familiar to those of you who have seen this.
At the same time, past archives are apparently Hoglovs, who values history. The tables that are placed in a hush are also incredibly elaborate.
The center of the store is a display of jackets and shells.
There are a lot of T-shirts on the left side of the corridor.
There is also a message from Hoglovs inside the store.
Speaking of Hoglovs, that's the backpack! A spectacular selection.
Manager Kasai, who was also involved in the offline event that was mentioned earlier, was responsible for the Hoglovs Harajuku store, and we'll have you talk about the products he likes this season.
In that case, we will switch to the latest Harajuku store patterns.
The season is autumn... It's amazing that it doesn't feel so shiny (bitter smile)
However, I visited again at a time when the autumn leaves were beginning to begin.
The appearance in front of the entrance has also been remodeled from black and red in September to chic autumn and winter outfits.
The section, which mainly used to be T-shirts, instantly gives off a feeling of winter with down coats.
Below it is the vibrant red and orange color of the fleece and Hoglofs.
The center is a shell and insulation for skis.
The impressive backpacks are still in good condition.
Since it is a flagship shop of Hoglovs, it is of course the main focus, but looking around the store, it's not just that. MOUNTAIN GOURMET LAB products are blowing a new breeze to the freeze-dried foods we're eating in Imayama.
We also have a lineup of maintenance items such as Grangers. Manager Kasai says that even though you can see clothing and small gear in this area, it's hard to see all the things you need on the mountains. So it's important to have all the items available at this location that can be easily reached and head straight to the mountains, and that may gradually increase those kinds of items from now on!?
It's hard to see the real thing!? They also have pre-tents available!
We also have D_b_ ™, which is familiar to anyone who has visited other Upland stores
This one is probably in a full lineup too, which is impressive.
Now, we've finally got to see Mr. Kasai, the manager of Hoglovs Harajuku store. We've picked out a lot of recommended products for this season's FW, so please take a look. These are must-see items for each item!
*The store manager will be replaced from spring 2025.
First up is Mimic Alert Hood! It is said to be the successor to the classic barrier series of the past, and is a well-balanced insulation model that can be used with either outer or mids.
The Mimic series comes in three variations, from the hooded top to the vest and jacket.
the Spitz GTX PRO Jacket, a highly recommended player for Kasai That's not to be a big hit, but this is the last model of the traditional water-repellent final model, and the next model will be a new standard product... For those who want it, this is the last chance!
Three vivid orange models from the backpack, and from the right are Latnja 18, Sensate Pro 32, and LIM Touring Pro 40. All models are for skis and backcountry, but they have a variety of performance and can be used without any problems in the mountains. Among them, when considering snow or mountains, the 40L model is the best balance, and Kasai-san often uses it in the mountains.
I thought the crampons under the pack, which are included in two models other than 18, looked very easy to use, which I thought was great. As the name suggests, the basic idea is to put crampons in, but depending on how you think about it, it's a versatile container. It's independent, so it would be a good idea to quickly put in what you want to take out.
Furthermore, the points that make you sniff are independent, but since it has a buckle closure, it is often thought that it can be used as a normal single-chamber if you remove it and push it to the edge.
Finally, the Puffy Mimic Hood is a slightly curved ball, or what's the one that looks like a normal fluffy down, but this is a synthetic cotton model, and yet it has a fluffy feel. It's truly a puffy. This feeling of puffy is irresistible, isn't it? Kasai-san also praises it, saying that it's interesting that it's not down.
At the same time, it is as warm as down and synthetic fiber, so it is also resistant to water.
What did you think, Hoglovs's upstart. Another sacred outdoor site has been created in Harajuku. I have been visiting outdoor shops around this area frequently, and I am happy to hear that there are more shops I would like to visit again (lol). Since there are so many shops, I hope that each person will become more and more excited by competing with each other, and I hope that it will be a place I will visit frequently in the future.
