The highest temperature in Chitose City was expected to be 32 degrees on the day, but the temperature measured was over 36 degrees and the WBGT (heat index) was 31 degrees Celsius, which is a dangerous level.
Looking at the weather forecasts across the country, there are forecasts in the low 30s, but in Chitose, Hokkaido, where I live, the temperatures only rise to the low 30s, so I thought it would be a little difficult to find useful, so I tested the DX Octagon 460UV and the spot cooler for a sunny day with a maximum temperature of 32 degrees.
To measure temperature and other factors, I used the Kenko Tokiner ``Black Ball Heat Stroke Meter'' to measure temperature, humidity, and WBGT values (heat index) using the ``Kenko Tokiner's ``Black Ball Heat Stroke Meter''. The tent that I purposely set up on the sun was hotter than I expected. Outside of testing, we highly recommend installing tents for summer camping in the shade.

We conducted a cooling experiment in the hottest hour, roughly from around 1:30 noon, but the spot air conditioner QL03 and JH01 circulator, the temperature dropped to about 7 degrees Celsius, and the WBGT value (heat index) also fell from the highest 34.8℃ to about 30.6℃. This is the result of measurements taken from around 2:30pm to 3:30pm, so the sunlight may be slightly less than when the spot air conditioner QL03 However, at this time of year, the sun sets in Hokkaido around 7pm, so it can be said that it hasn't changed much. When camping in the middle of summer, it is recommended to use it actively if you can use an air conditioning system such as a spot cooler before you think it's dangerous.
In the case of the "Haier JA-SP25U Spot Air Conditioner", hot air is discharged from the main unit, so only cold air is sent into the tent. Therefore, the cold air sealing felt low.

The interior of the "DX Octagon 460UV" is quite spacious. In the shade, I think that Gen's Spot Air Conditioner QL03 and JH01 Circulator from Chestnut have been able to cool it down sufficiently.
In this test, I was so concerned that the results would not be useful in experiments in cool environments in Hokkaido, so I deliberately experimented on a day when direct sunlight was bright in the middle of summer, but this season, the heat in Hokkaido remains unchanged, so in the end, it may not have been necessary to go this far.
If the tent was installed in the shade or shaded trees, as was the case in line with the tent, a combination of spot air conditioners and JH01 circulators could have kept the heat index low enough, and the environment could be maintained to be comfortable inside the tent. Rather, even in Hokkaido, on days when the weather forecast forecasts show that the temperature exceeds 30 degrees, campsite day and tents installed there are basically "life-threatening and dangerous heat." Therefore, as a basic premise, when camping in the middle of summer, be sure to take great care and choose the location where you will be installing your tent.
