Detailed review
Incredibly compact and lightweight, yet a powerful 650lms light and lantern

It is about the size of your little finger and weighs just 17.6g.
First and foremost, the Aurora A7 is its light weight and compactness, but in this day and age when lightweight and compact items are no longer rare, what's impressive is the functionality packed into its small body.
Despite being only the size of a pinky finger, it's equipped with both an LED flashlight and a lantern light. The LED flashlight's maximum output of 650 lumens provides a range of 110 meters! Its powerful light output was enough to illuminate the trail after dark. Four brightness settings allow you to find the right light for the situation. While the lowest-output Moon mode isn't ideal for illuminating anything, it serves as a handy miniature light bulb for those who don't like sleeping in the middle of nature in the dark. The lantern light output, at 50 lumens in High mode, is bright enough to comfortably read a book inside a solo tent.
Its small size gives it an output that's hard to imagine. This contrast the Aurora A7 's greatest appeal. The included key ring allows you to carry it with you at all times, along with your house keys, and the extra 17.6g will be a huge benefit for those who want to reduce the power consumption of their main headlamp at night when camping or hiking. The function that remembers the light output after three minutes of use and turns it on at the same level the next time is also convenient, eliminating the need to adjust the light output every time.
The battery capacity is small, so the maximum light output time is short
The Aurora A7 has a small battery capacity of 330mAh, so it can only run for about an hour on High mode as an LED flashlight and about 1.5 hours on High mode as a lantern light, making it unsuitable for situations where continuous use is required.
I used it as a lantern light on a three-day, two-night hike in the Northern Alps, and by switching between High and Low modes the battery lasted the first day, but by the night of the second day it ran out. I was able to get through the second night because it can be charged with a mobile battery and can be used while charging, but the battery capacity is small and I felt it wasn't suitable for long hikes.
If you use it without a power supply, it's fine for short mountain hikes or overnight stays. That said, if you keep it on after the sun goes down, you should be aware that the battery may run out by the time you go to bed. It's a good idea to keep it in your backpack as an emergency light for day hikes, low mountain climbing, or other mountain hikes where you can finish your activities while it's still light out.
One thing to be aware of is that the Moon mode has a very weak light output, so be careful not to forget to turn it off. If you forget to turn it off, it will waste battery power.
When attached to the cap, it becomes a headlight, and can be attached to metal parts using the included magnet.

By combining accessories, the Aurora A7 can increase its additional functions.
The Aurora A7 is not only lightweight and compact, but also boasts a powerful light output and a variety of hidden features that will appeal to some and leave others speechless.
First, there's the included magnetic clip. This clip can be attached to a chest pocket or similar, but as the name suggests, it has a built-in magnet so it can be attached to metal objects. Because it's a clip, it can also be hooked onto ropes and other objects. It's also dustproof and waterproof, so you can use it without hesitation even in bad weather.
One time I found it useful was when I was preparing to start a mountain climb. Getting ready to leave before dawn required light, but the interior car lights didn't adequately illuminate the luggage space and surrounding area. So, I the Aurora A7 , which turned it into a handy light.

If you attach it to a metal part of your car, it will become a light to illuminate when you are getting ready.
This magnetic clip can be attached to a cap with a brim and used as a headlamp. With both hands free, it's easy to do tasks like cooking, and you can walk safely from the tent site to the toilet with both hands free.
The magnetic clip can be used as a headlamp, or attached to a chest pocket or other location and used in lantern mode to illuminate your hands, so it can be used in a variety of ways, other than attaching it to a cap.
The Aurora A7 can also be used as a headlamp , but as mentioned above, the battery capacity is low and the continuous burn time is short, so we do not recommend using it as your main headlamp. Since the angle cannot be adjusted, it is better to use it as a lantern at the tent site or as a secondary headlamp.

The powerful 650 lumen light provides ample illumination even on dark trails.
Another very useful item is the detachable magnet at the bottom, which allows you to add magnetic functionality in a more compact and lighter way than the magnetic clip. When considering use for mountain climbing or hiking, I personally felt that the clip was more functional and convenient, even if it was a little heavier, but for those who don't need the clip function, the magnet attached to the bottom only adds 1.4g to the device, giving you the magnetic functionality (the magnetic clip weighs 4.4g).

When using the bottom magnetic clip
The flashlight's high mode reduces the light intensity immediately after irradiation to prevent heat buildup.
One thing I was concerned about was how long it could last at high output. The Aurora A7 reduces the light output after about a minute to prevent overheating, and although it doesn't get so dark that it makes it difficult to see the road at night, the high output can only be maintained for a short time.
This decrease in light output the Aurora A7 . Headlamps designed for serious mountaineering and trail running also tend to gradually decrease in light output after use. Some headlamps lose a lot of light after a few hours of use, while others lose light more slowly, depending on the model. While the decrease in light output the Aurora A7 , it's also understandable that its battery capacity is smaller than that of mountaineering headlamps, and its short burn time means that it can only produce high output for a short period of time.
Summary: The pinky-sized Multilite was truly a "little giant"!
We introduced the Rovy Von Aurora A7
The Aurora A7 is small, compact, and highly portable, yet emits a powerful light . By combining it with accessories, it can be used not only as a flashlight or lantern, but also as a headlamp, ceiling light, keychain, and more. It's an EDC tool you can carry every day, whether you're in the mountains or in town.
When considering use in mountain climbing, it's difficult to use as your main headlamp, and whether you need to carry both a headlamp and the Aurora A7 may be a matter of personal preference. If you're packing the bare minimum, you can rely on a single headlamp for lighting, but this lightweight lantern is an attractive choice for those who want to reduce the power consumption of their headlamp or who want to use it as a lantern to enjoy their time in the tent. In this test, I used it on a 2-night, 3-day hike in the Northern Alps and a 1-night, 2-day tent camping trip, and carrying the Aurora A7
Although I mentioned that it would be difficult to use as a headlamp, if you are going on a long-distance hike where you will not be traveling at night, you may be able to take advantage of the Aurora A7
The battery capacity is small and it feels a bit cheap, but as long as you use it correctly, it will be useful in a wide range of outdoor activities, such as mountain climbing, hiking, and camping. Keep this little giant in your backpack.
