New trekking pants, windshells, rainwear, bags... A collection of interesting items from the Patagonia 2024 Spring/Summer preview

The mountains are still covered in snow, but the spring and summer 2024 season has already begun in the lower reaches.

Meanwhile, I infiltrated the recently held Patagonia Spring/Summer Item Exhibition, which was held earlier, so I'll summarize some of the items that caught my eye on Outdoor Gearzine.

The Quandary Pants series has been expanded and updated

Alpine/Trekking pants have been renewed, with a wide range of easy-to-use, easy-to-use style that is easy to move around and easy to wear for travel and everyday life. In addition to the standard trekking model, the 2024 season will be added in three styles: "convertible", "joggers", and "shorts", and it appears to be a wide range of products.

Patagonia trekking pants are well-known for their excellent silhouette, and the new model uses NetPlus material recycled from discarded fishing nets, making the silhouette more refined and lighter, and the waist can be used on the outside or inside. And it was almost completely revamped, with repair patches attached to the back of the pocket.

If you're thinking about everyday wear, it's a standard one, if you want it to be suitable for a wide range of seasons and weather, it's a convertible one, if you want it to be easily moved, or a shorts one for summer only, it seems like it can be used for a variety of orientations and activities.

This time, a repair scrap has been added to the lining of the pocket, and even if it tears, it has been made so that you can fix it yourself without buying a new one.

A convertible type that can be used as long pants or shorts. It's very easy to use and has many loyal fans.

The standard long pants have a buttoned roll-up cord at the hem, allowing you to roll up the hem.

The lightweight windshell "Houdini Stash/Airshed Pro" is becoming ever more user-friendly

A new style of "Stash" has been released in the Houdini Jacket, a windshell that trail running lovers are familiar with. The half-zip pullover type and hoodless make it even more compact and portable.

The fabric is a DWR-processed nylon ripstop, thin enough to allow the back to be seen. The colouring is also wonderful, even though it's aggressive.

The Airshed Pro, which has become a new standard in recent years, has also been updated in detail. The baby's hybrid structure is made of nylon material that prevents wind, and the hood that wants to be blown through, and the sleeves are made of caprine, cool, and lightweight material, which is still in good condition this time. The new product also has a stretchy fabric on this body, making it even easier to move around.

The new Airshed Pro Pullover has been further improved with a chest pocket and has a smarter packable design.

The masterpiece "Storm Racer Jacket" has been updated to make it easy to use for fast packing

my previous comparison reviews of lightweight rainwear at Outdoor Gearzine , and my personal favorite, the Storm Racer Jacket, has also been renewed.

The fabric remains unchanged, but its appearance has been significantly revised. Simply put, it has a very unique front zipper design (that made sense for trail running), but it has a simple front zipper and chest pocket, just like a typical rain jacket. It's certainly perfect in style, comfort, functionality and lightness, so I feel like this model, which has become even more versatile, will sell better than before.

This season's limited edition rope bag "Win Win Packing Tarp" gives you endless possibilities

This "Win-Win Packing Tarp" was a limited model that was only available this season, but I thought it would be very easy to use. It is a bag that stores climbing ropes, but it can store bulky gear, luggage, wet items, dirt, and more without worry, and comes with a tarp (rug) that can be used as a stretcher or as a footrest. The entrance is roll-top, and is highly expandable, and I feel like it will be flexible to accommodate a variety of activities and provide smart storage.

A tarp that doesn't require ropes, gear, etc. to be placed directly on the ground. It seems convenient for changing clothes.

Other popular items from mountain activities

Using Naia® Renew, the Caprien Cool Trail has a cotton-like feel and texture, making it a piece that even outdoor enthusiasts will always want to wear with its stylish graphics.

The "boulder, fork, and rain jacket" features rust-resistant zippers, making it ideal for trekking and fishing. This will also fit into the river climbing.

The Black Hole Duffel series, perfect for carrying large amounts of luggage, is made from recycled TPU-coated fabric, making it even more environmentally friendly.

The Black Hole Cube, which allows you to store small items smartly, has also been updated to recycled TPU coating material, and the size has also been improved.
